We were just wandering around looking for lunch when we stumbled upon this amazing Thai restaurant, Ben's the Thai Takeaway. It's like a little slice of Thailand right here in Sydney! The atmosphere is super chill and classic, and the best part? The chefs (who also double as the service staff) are incredibly friendly.

We tried the red curry, noodles, and fried chicken, and let me tell you - everything was cooked to perfection. The flavors were incredible, and the portions were generous. Plus, the prices are super reasonable - perfect for anyone on a budget (living crisis, who?!).

this phad thai is the best one i had in here. The noodle is cooked so savory and sweet, add pinch of lemon juice makes it so perfect. The first bite of the food make me finish so quick. The egg and chicken is cooked well. The restaurant is bit hard to find because it is not on the main street of Kingsford, but it makes the restaurant less noisy. The atmosphere is like home. The place is small and doesn’t have a lot of chair, but the seats are comfy and it has an open kitchen so you can see what’s cooking. The boss is very straight forward, some people may find it rude but I find it perfectly okay. You can choose many items in the menu, and the price is very reasonable and very worth it. Takeaway dinner.

Pad Thai: more noodles hardly any chicken. Spring roll and curry puff, assumed automatically comes with the standard side sauce discovered not the case when got home.

Pad thai pretty bland, and like 5 grams of chicken. The taste compared to what we used to order for bulk work lunch 7 years ago has seemingly gone out the door. Not the same as then.

Chef on the evening, watched him cook, looked disinterested in cooking and was unenthusiastic. No aromas throughout the kitchen as well, so should have been a flag then.
