The most authentic northern Chinese breakfast! Everything is so spot on flavour wise. Good home style coming without over saltiness or msg typical of delicious and cheap food. Love the buns, pancakes, cold appetisers, even the soy milk (not watery), tea egg, congee is simple and plain as it should be. Sad we didn't try this place earlier. Surprisingly also has vegetarian and a vegan bun which are all fantastic too.

A go-to place for a quick snack/lunch. Love the baozi here and the staff is always nice. Not sure why there are quite a few bad reviews. The place is quite hygienic and the service was amazing. Came in for a pork baozi today and whilst there were some on display the lady offered me a baozi from a fresh batch which was quite sweet.

My partner and I discovered this little gem yesterday. I really don’t get the bad reviews. This place is great!

They serve a large selection of big steamed buns and savoury fried stuffed pancakes. I got a pork big bun, beef stuffed fried pancake, and an egg/spinach/chives pancake. I enjoyed it all, especially the beef stuffed fried pancake.

My total only came to $12, and it was super filling! My partner also got three items and it was less than $12. Everything was tasty, and extremely affordable, we were so full.

The only downside was the food was a little cold, so we zapped them in the microwave when we got home. But we did go at the end of the day, around 6pm, so that’s understandable. I can tell that the items would be even yummier when freshly cooked, so next time I’ll try to go in the morning.

The woman working at the counter was also really sweet and friendly!

Edit: I went again today, food was delicious again! I wanted to edit my review to note that they do actually offer to heat up the pancakes/buns/etc. that you pick from the front. Think of if like a cafe that has pre-prepared sandwiches and croissants sitting at the front, and they can ask you if you’d like it...

Worst ever service, very rude staff. I was going to order fried dough(you tiao), a waitress told me that the cook was making it and would be ready in 10 mins, so went out to wait and came back 10 mins later, then the waitress said the cook was making steamed bun not the fried dough, so I asked how long I had to wait again, she said:" no idea, you just wait." Okay, I will never come back!!! No respect to...
