We’ve been coming 20+ years and have given the new management a few goes throughout the year. Unfortunately, last night is our last time and we won't be back again. Service has never been so atrocious.
We were already suspicious how there was only one table eating on a Friday night when it should be packed. Regardless, we walked in and placed our order - which only had 3 dishes, and one soft drink. The waiter even confirmed our order.
First, the soft drink didn't come out - something I would assume would be quick considering how quiet it was at the restaurant. It was only when we asked the waiter (the same one who took our order), that she gave an excuse that someone else is getting it from the back of the house. Next minute we clearly see her getting it herself at the bar and bringing it over 5 minutes later. It could have been a simple apology that she forgot and will bring it out as soon as she can, but an excuse was given instead.
Secondly, with the actual meal, we were pretty much finished with 2 of the 3 items we ordered. However, looking in the kitchen we could see that nothing was being cooked for our third. So we asked the waiter (again the same one who took our order), that we were still missing a dish. Again, without a second thought, she said its 'on its way' and then proceeded to the bar side of the restaurant without even checking the kitchen. We waited a bit more and pecked at the crumbs of what remains of the first two dishes that came out waiting for the third. But the kitchen still looked like there was no movement. So we asked a different waiter, and this time, he ACTUALLY went into the kitchen to check for us.
He came back and asked what our order was. Upon hearing that we instantly knew that our third dish was most definitely NOT 'on its way' and instantly cancelled it.
Now, as I proceed to the bar counter to pay the bill, the girl who took our order and said our third dish was 'on its way' when it clearly was not, immediately ducked behind the coffee machine as soon as I walked towards it, avoiding me entirely.
No explanations, no apologies, no nothing. She knew what had happened as the other waiter who checked the kitchen had asked her about it when he realised the mistake.

I used to recommend this restaurant to everyone i know. However as of last night i will no longer be coming to this restaurant due to what i had to endure last night. I found a long hair wrapped around the seafood in my spaghetti marinara. I quietly asked the waitress to return this back to the kitchen. I didnt want to draw attention from other customers as i know these things can sometimes happen. As she walked away I realised i forgot to ask her if it was possible for them to make it a children size due to the portions being so big. As I approached the counter i could see 4 chefs looking over the dish and remove the seafood that was on top of the dish that had the hair wrapped around t. The the main chef (who at that time i did not know was the owner) asked me where the hair was. I pointed behind him to the work bench and said that i will not require for my meal to be made again as i have lost my appetite. I walked back to my table and after 15 minutes asked to speak to someone in management. This lovely woman approached me instantly and in the middle of telling her that i will pay for everything else that was ordered except my meal, the chef came over to my table and started verbally abusing me in front of customers and children. The disgusting language that was used and the screaming coming from the owner was appalling. I WAS SCARED FOR MY OWN SAFTEY! I have never been spoken to in that way my whole entire life. I felt that if i did not have a table between myself and the owner that he would have been physically violent. Nobody should EVER have to put up with this type of behaviour when going out for a quiet dinner with friends and family. No customers should also have to witness this behaviour. No children should have had to listen to such disgusting language. I felt threatened and unsafe to the point that it had caused an anxiety attack. I will never be returning...

Went to this place last week Australia day. Ordered a T'bone steak & partner Ordered a chicken dish.
Quater way through eating the steak I started to notice a bad smell coming from it & as I cut closer to the bone of the steak it stunk the steak was off smelt like a sweet cheese smell. Took the steak to the chef told him it was off he looked at it and threw it straight in the bin & said !Oh I've sold heaps of these today! Yeah great response. I then told the person in charge he was polite about the situation but was trying everything to brush it off. He offered a free desert which we declined then said oh ok look next time you come here for dinner i'll look after you yeah like I'll be coming back to this joke of a restaurant again. After taking about the situation we went to pay & he charged us in full mind you it was a $200 bill as we were with 4 people then ontop of it all he still has the audacity to still charge us full price but also puts the $20 surcharge for the public holiday on the bill aswell total was $220. We were discused after leaving. atlest for a $80 steak that was off i was still willing to pay $50 for it as I'm not that type of person anyway it was the worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Also the chicken dish my partner got the chicken was frozen defrosted then cooked chicken chips were very soggy and soft other main dishes were not great not one of us finished our food.
Never going to this place again not even if the meals were free totally turned off and discused with the service & food. Don't even waste your time here honestly only decent thing is there pizza even that's not tge best. All the main meals taste like they are just slapped together no care then passed out to the customers considering what they are charging aswell it's expensive for what your getting for...
