BSP'ERIA Delivers a Slice of Paradise!

I recently had the pleasure of experiencing the ultimate pizza extravaganza at BSP'ERIA, and let me tell you, it was a culinary adventure like no other! As someone with an extreme personality, I have an affinity for pushing the boundaries of flavor, and BSP'ERIA catered to my wildest pizza desires.

From the moment I arrived at the pizzeria I was greeted by an atmosphere brimming with friendly faces, social energy, and an unmistakable sense of joy. The vibrant ambiance instantly set the stage for an unforgettable experience.

Mick, the pizza mastermind and captain of flavor, was more than ready to embrace my extremo pizza cravings. He greeted me with a twinkle in his eye, ready to embark on a pizza journey that would push the limits of deliciousness. Mick was like a mad scientist, but instead of potions, he conjured up pizza concoctions that MADE MY TASTEBUDS DO THE MACARENA

Mick was patient enough to explain each ingredient and even suggested a few "out there" extras that I couldn't resist. I ended up with a pizza that looked like a Pablo Picasso masterpiece, but instead of paint, it was covered in succulent, mouthwatering toppings.

When the pizza arrived, it was like a fireworks display for my taste buds. The crust was superbly light and crispy, it whispered, "You're about to have a slice of heaven." The toppings were glistening, as if I was gazing upon the Northern lights of Norway! each ingredient vying for the title of "Most Delicious." My mouth was having a party, and everyone was invited!

The pizza was a work of art, a bold and beautiful masterpiece that perfectly resembled my personality. Each bite was an explosion of flavors, magnificently balanced and beautifully crafted. The dough was light and airy, with just the right amount of crispiness, while the toppings were fresh, abundant, authentic and exquisitely flavorful.

if you're tired of mundane pizzas and you're ready to embark on an unforgettable flavor adventure, put your shoes on and head straight...

I recently tried BSP''ERIA Pizza and ordered three pizzas: the classic Margherita, a Garlic Pizza, and the Gamberi (prawn) Pizza.

Overall, the experience was satisfying and enjoyable—perfect for a relaxed night in with good comfort food.

The Margherita pizza was a simple, well-balanced take on the classic. The tomato base was fresh and slightly tangy, complemented by a decent layer of mozzarella and a subtle hint of basil. While not pushing any culinary boundaries, it hit the right notes and was a solid choice for traditionalists. Base is not crispy, so make sure your aware.

The Garlic Pizza stood out as a flavourful, aromatic treat. It was generously engolfed with garlic, which gave it a rich, savory punch without being overpowering. The crust was nicely cooked— and crispy (when compared to the others, on the edges and softer in the center—making it an ideal shared starter or side to the main pizzas.

The Gamberi Pizza offered a nice seafood option, topped with prawns that seemed fairly fresh yet were glhidden behind the rocket placed on top. The flavour combination was light and pleasant, althoigh the base is nit crsipy, so again keep yhis in mind if crispy base is your thingl. Though I wouldn’t call it a standout gourmet option, it was tasty and enjoyable, especially for fans of seafood pizzas.

Service was smooth and efficient, and the pizzas were ready promptly and warm. Presentation and packaging were neat, and the portion sizes were generous for the price.

BSP''ERIA Pizza delivers good, honest pizza that’s perfect for casual dining.

While the pizzas may not be the most artisanal or inventive in town, they’re reliably good and hit the spot when you're craving a familiar, satisfying meal. I’d happily order again, especially for a relaxed night in with friends or family.

My only recombination would be crispy base, but thats just my personal presence, and everyone...

Born from humble origins, Bsp'eria, initially a hole in the wall on Bridge Street turned into a hidden gem of a small pizzeria with a shop front on Laycock Ave. Bsp'eria provides you with an experience like no other. Owners, Michael and Mick are the most hospitable people you'll ever meet, making you feel like you're family.

From the minute you walk in, you're greeted by authentic Italian staff making you feel like you've just entered Nonna's home and she is about to make sure you not leaving her house until you are well fed.

Tonight we ordered their famous Uncle Charlie, their monthly special which featured a wagyu brescaoilla and their antipasti mortadella with buratta, pistachios and pesto.

Starting with the antipasti, you are met with a divine refreshing flavour to your pallet. You just can't seem to stop having more. We used our pizza crust as the bread to go along with it and we just couldn't seem to get enough.

The Uncle Charlie is the highlight of tonight. The nduja automatically punches you in the face and knocks you out but then the honey brings you back to life providing a great balance between spice and sweetness. I have never tasted a pizza like this in my life and I'll definitely be going back for more. Such a basic, simple concept but a world of flavours providing you with an experience like no other.

Oh and just when you think you're done, don't forget to try their tiramisu. Definitely feels like a home-made one. None of this commercialised stuff out there.

What are you waiting for? Go and visit...

Eftpos available Order in the morning for an evening pickup Text the mobile number with your order as the requests were already on fire in the morning, well before the shop was open. Shop will often book out and customers are turned away. This is due to a lack of dough and the cooking time for the oven. Gamberi - $29, grape tomato, prawns, stratcchiatella, rocket, almonds. (Stratcchiatella cheese is soft and runny, provides a luxury feeling to the pizza). Michael has mentioned that they are due to receive a fridge to store extra dough. Oven does not run on rolling pins, so the arrangement means the cooking time is longer. Though it allows the crust to bubble and pop as if filled with, Coca-Cola bringing a chewiness to your mouth. Michael has an incredible memory, he knew my name having once spoken to me. He remembered me the following day, as I missed out the first time I came. Michael is the business Owner and the enthusiasm seethes from his man bun, as he is passionate for pizza and the timely service to the community. I hope he has many successes through this venture as the previous manoush establishment was cut short due to COVID. Bsperia is in a strategic location, situated at the bottom of the stairwell on Bridge St, outside Penshurst station. It's common for people to order, 4-6-8-9 pizzas in one order. As the flavours are gorgeous and the crunchiness of the oven fired crust is addictive, this will soon, if not already become a cult-favourite. I will try the antipasti next time too.
