Bundeena Beach Cafe — Restaurant in Sydney

Rude staff. Bought a cappuccino and asked for no chocolate on top as my mum has chocolate anaphylaxis ( and mentioned that!). The coffee had chocolate on top. Took it back and staff asked what was the big deal as there is chocolate on the bottom. I queried why there was chocolate on bottom and they snickered and laughed at me and insisted that that’s how you make a cappuccino. I said I had never ever heard of that ( and I had worked on a cafe for more than a decade when I was at uni). They continued to snicker and laugh and went on and on about how wrong I was. No, you are wrong! Maybe when you join the cultured world, and look outside your small insular lives, you will see that nowhere else in the world puts choc on the bottom of a cappuccino. Google it if you don’t believe it. Ignorant, rude and horrible staff. Even if I was completely wrong, their behaviour was disgusting. Not to mention dangerous. Easily the worst coffee I’ve ever had! The owner of the cafe was very hostile and more interested in conversing with her friends and socialising than actually looking after paying customers. The coffee she made was absolutely disgusting and not barista quality. Will never ever...
