I had an absolutely terrible experience ordering from this restaurant via Uber Eats, and I honestly hope this place shuts down if this is how they treat their customers. From start to finish, it was an infuriating and disappointing experience that left me feeling scammed, frustrated, and completely ripped off.

First, let’s talk about the missing items. I ordered 2 meals that included two drinks 2 chips and 2 burger and when the delivery arrived, guess what? Both drinks and 1 chips were missing! That’s not just a small mistake—it’s almost half my order gone. And to make things worse, Uber Eats refuses to issue a refund for these missing items. How is that fair? I paid for something, I didn’t receive it, and now I’m just supposed to accept that my money is gone? That is absolute fraud, plain and simple.

Now, onto the food that actually did arrive. I wish they had forgotten my entire order because what I did receive was completely disgusting. The burgers were inedible—dry, flavorless, and looked like they had been slapped together by someone who just didn’t care. The patties were overcooked to the point of being hard which pineapple the buns were stale, and the toppings were either missing or barely there. The lettuce was brown and wilted, the tomato slices were thin and mushy, and the cheese wasn’t even melted. It was like they just threw random leftovers into the burger and called it a day.

To add insult to injury, the food was cold when it arrived, as if it had been sitting out for hours before being packed up. I understand that food can cool down a bit during delivery, but this was next-level bad. It was like they had prepared my food, left it sitting in a corner for ages, and then handed it off to the driver when they finally remembered it existed. There was zero effort put into ensuring a good dining experience.

And the worst part? The restaurant didn’t even try to make things right. I called them to let them know about the missing items and the terrible food, and their response was nothing short of dismissive. No apology, no offer to fix the issue, nothing. They basically told me to take it up with Uber Eats and hung up. That level of customer service is appalling. A good business would acknowledge their mistake and do something to correct it, but this place clearly doesn’t care about its customers.

So I did what they suggested and reached out to Uber Eats. And guess what? They were just as useless. Instead of issuing a refund for the missing items, they told me they couldn’t do anything about it. Seriously? I paid for those drinks and chips, and I didn’t get them—how is that not grounds for a refund? Their refusal to take responsibility for missing items is incredibly shady and makes me question how many people are being scammed like this on a daily basis.

At this point, I was out of pocket for food I never received, stuck with a disgusting meal that I wouldn’t even feed to my dog, and left dealing with a restaurant and a delivery service that refused to take responsibility for their mistakes. It’s an absolute joke.

If this is how they operate, I genuinely hope they go out of business because customers deserve better than this. There are plenty of restaurants out there that care about food quality, customer service, and integrity—this is clearly not one of them.

this spot used to be the best burger joint in the neighborhood, with delicious patties, just the right amount of sauce to add flavor without overpowering the original flavor, and beautifully crinkle cut fries. closed a few weeks ago and has reopened for renovations, with a new owner but no notification and the buns have been replaced with the cheapest ones, with the obvious difference being that they're not toasted. I ordered the spicy beef lane a few months ago I posted a review and said I always order this and the flavor keeps me coming back every time, today I almost threw up at the first bite, the beef patty was extra fishy, no more bacon, and now the guys are trying to cut corners, fries are bland and tasteless. Just got 2 burgers from Burger Stop tonight and they were awesome! Didn’t take a photo as I wanted them in my belly. The milk buns are nice and spongy and don’t fall apart, generous size and Pattie’s were juicy, not greasy at all, crinkle cut herby fries were yummy too. Really good value at 2 burgers, fries and a beer and a cider for $34. The lady that served us was super lovely. They have plenty of seating and there is a safe kids play area fenced in and Astro turf, dogs allowed I think as we had our greyhound with us. Would highly recommend these guys for a burger fix.
