Will never go back there EVER!! Went there on the morning of 24/05/2018 for a meeting with a client. While i had a chat we also had a couple of coffees. After the meeting, I ordered a bacon and egg roll for take away and drove back towards Marrickville. Had my bacon and egg roll back in the office. Towards the second half of my roll, I bit into something hard which I thought it was the bacon to start with but soon realised when I spat it out that it was a BREAD CLIP!!! SERIOUSLY A BREAD CLIP?? COME ON!!!!!! Furiously, I drove back to the cafe with my half eaten bacon and egg roll. Spoke to the staff there and said if I was ordering this for my kids, they could of chocked and died from it. I got a āhalf sorryā as a response, the bloke grabbed my roll off me and threw it in the bin and walked away. The way they delt with the situation was poor and absolutely rude. Iām not the type to argue to get free food but come on mate, I paid for a half eaten roll. Itās taken me over a month to write this review because every time I order a bacon and egg roll elsewhere, it reminds me of this experience and I strongly believe that people should know about the customer service-less business they are running. Even though I am a local there, I will definitely never go back there again. Could be good coffee and food but the way the staff/managements attitudes were, reflects on the whole business itself. I mentioned that I didnāt mind if the total price changed. The person who answered the phone was quite rude and dismissive, saying they couldnāt add anything and that I would have to place another order ā even though the first one had just been made and was still being prepared.
Despite explaining that I was trying to add something before the order went out, they went ahead and completed the order anyway. Iāve ordered from CafĆ© Figaro many times before and have always enjoyed their food, but this experience was very disappointing. The cafe was closing at 3pm and we asked one of the staff if the cafe was closed but he informed the kitchen is closed but we can order takeaway coffee. We ordered x2 cap. Our son wanted baby chino hence we again ordered baby chino but the barista didnāt say anything and made baby chino with very bad attitude, pouring a lot of chocolate powder.. If they were closed she could have said sorry we are closed but shejhst made it with very bad attitude. If she had said they were closed there was another cafe open, we could have gone there.
