Childhood establishment being run into the ground.

Loud mouth management.

Underwhelming food.

I sat there waiting for my food and all I can hear is the manager yelling at the staff and then laughing at something else. Was very unprofessional and uncomfortable.

The food was terrible. The fish stunk so bad and so did the prawns. I could not eat it. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself. The fish looked to be slimy and gross. It was like it was fried multiple times because it was so dried out.

The potato scallops weren’t good either. They used to sell the best potato scallops. Not anymore.

This ruined my beach day. $30 dollars worth of food thrown in the trash.

Would not recommend.

I go to this shop for lunch now and again on weekends. The food always tastes good, and I've never had a problem. I usually get the fishermans box for $17.50. As expected, it gets busy around lunchtime; sometimes you can wait for 15 or 20 minutes to hear your number called. Prices are reasonable, service is friendly and efficient. There is an area right next to the shop, where you can sit and eat. There are also public toilets in this area. Or, you can walk less than 10 minutes, and sit near the beach and eat. The first time I came here in 2020, I had good service and good seafood so I kept returning. Last time I came here will probably be my last time.

All of the staff wore their face masks under their chin (there was an indoor mask mandate in force at the time) and one older gentleman who wasn't working at the front walking in with no mask on at all.
