Cafe LeLunar — Restaurant in Sydney

This cafe has so much potential. Sadly it is not used to its full potential. I attended for breakfast and all I can say is that it was a total waste of money. Coffee - serving the bean of Campos. My standard order of a flatwhite came to me tasting absolutely horrible. Bitter. Watery. Luke warm. Dirty mug. I simply put it to the side on the adjacent table. Breakfast- I ordered the berry pancakes. They came out after 45 mins of waiting and were just as equally terrible as the coffee. Pre cooked the day before, burnt on the edges from sitting on a hotplate to keep the warm before sending to the table & they tasted like dirty a mix of dirty hotplate and that fridge taste of a product that had not been covered. The berries were fermented and soggy. Just not nice. My friend ordered the big breaky, burnt toast, and everything was extremely oily. The service was terrible, no one came to check on the table, too busy talking behind the counter. The cleanliness of this place was horrendous. The floors looked as though they had not been cleaned in over a week there was food and crumbs pushed into the corners, open sugar packets in the holders on tables ( most of which were empty ) and the tables felt as though they had greasy film over them as though they were wiped with a dirty cloth. I don't write reviews often but I just hope you take stock with what I'm writing here because I think it will help your business in the long run...........

This was seriously the worst coffee I've had all year. The iced coffee tasted like fake syrup coffee flavoring with a hunk of ice cream in the middle. It was seriously awful and had waaaay too much sugar. I have also tried your cappuccino and it was a watery bitter tasteless cup of coffee. I'm not sure who made the coffee but I do know that $20,000 machine is going to absolute waste unless you train your baristas to use it properly. The food I also ordered was very average tasting, small and stingy for almost twenty dollars cost.

I am born and raised in Windsor so I know for a fact you can probably scrape by and keep your business afloat because the people of Windsor have no concept of decent coffee or food. I know that sounds pretentious.

You have a decent location, with indoor and outdoor seating and the competition in uptown Windsor isn't too difficult to beat (The Ugly Mug, Gloria Jeans for example lol) If you properly trained your baristas and significantly improved the quality of your coffee you could do good. Please don't become another average coffee joint in Windsor, we already have 10 of those and don't...

Going down hill. So sad used to be great. Went last weekend and there was 1 cook on but 3 or 4 making coffee etc. A waitress came to couple near me and said there meals will be about 40 minutes as there was 1 cook did they want a refund! They had finished their coffee. I was waiting for someone so decided I wasn't going to wait so left and went elsewhere. Where is the staff to help the poor cook? Why couldn't one of the ones making coffee go and help her!? Servings have got small for the price also. Bacon and egg roll 1 piece of bacon and 1 egg. For your high prices I expect more.
