Cafein Bar — Restaurant in Sydney

I feel that the quality of the coffee, snacks and sandwiches are great. But having a skeleton staff is incredibly detramental to having more sales. The owner takes orders, makes coffees, and takes sandwiches. If anyone is on the move and in a hurry, this place is not for you. I think the owner could make a lot more sales (and money) even if he had one more staff just to focus on making coffees and/or taking orders. Being in hospo for 15 years and this just gives me the shivers. One staff to do it all...

We went on a Saturday morning and it was empty. That's usually the first warning sign. But we gave them the benefit of the doubt. Shouldn't have. The food was sub par. There is nothing to fault here! Kev and the team are wonderful, generous people with a great sens of humour who never forget a face or an order. Fresh, homemade banana bread, brownies and friand's are the best I've had and the coffee is fantastic. Always look forward to coming down and grabbing my daily coffee...
