Their coffee is amazing. The best one around the area. The bakery is next to the meat market, very easy to find. I’ve eaten the Bacon Egg roll, the pies, and even the apraxia meals at lunch time. I had a mushroom risotto extremely tasty. The staff is always friendly. And they have great pricing. Very affordable for the quality that they give. Again, the coffee is very good

Very disappointing. Bought a chicken and mushroom pie which hardly had any chicken in it, not worth it for $7 gravy with pastry. The spinach and cheese pastie was worse it only had a smear of the stuff, like how you would butter a bread. I've never seen that before. If I had eaten it there would have asked for a refund, but all this was takeaway.

Well stocked bakery and cafe. Hot and cold food and drinks. Wide selection of fresh baked, breads, biscuits, cakes and savoury pies/rolls. Kitchen fare also available, including B&E roll. Coffee is okay, though not strong. Friendly and fast service. A good-sized, enclosed seating area available, next to the Meat Market car park.

I visited the Calypso Bakery Cafe on a busy Saturday, when there were 100 customers waiting to be served at the meat market attached. The coffee was made beautifully by a cheerful barista, pie was awesome and they even sold Maltese biscuits which I was able to take home for my aunty. She loved them! This is a great, local, family-owned business with delicious...

Located in Pendle Hill Meat market this small little cafe has a lot to offer from pies,donuts and hot food. The lamb and chicken pies were both large in size and had plenty of filling but also the bottom of the pie just didn’t break apart like other pies which is a plus. Sone pies can’t hold their own filling. The cheese cake donut is nice too!...
