Camy's Chargrill Chicken Mascot — Restaurant in Sydney

Needed to catch up w an old old mate fm another lifetime n decided to get their chicken caesar wrap. Venue is clean, food nicely displayed. Cant fault them for being generous w the chicken in the wrap. I realize it is hard work in the takeaway food biz n how dressings are most times bought in bulk. It is also common practice to ‘recycle’ unsold chooks in a chook shop, which is fine by me as the ‘leftover’ chooks have plenty of life in them still.

The chicken caesar wrap we got had all the right ingredients n a fat generous one at that. Good value for money. Perhaps a simple squeeze of fresh lemon would elevate the dry chooks? And the addition of olive oil soaked anchovies? Or some sprinkles of proper parmesan cheese? The kitchen could also look into modding the dressing a little as it was simply flat.

Saw the pie and it looked fantastic! So I just had to stop for it!

So let’s start with the beef and gravy pie... Fillinng was good taste but a tad too salty. Decent and generous mince beef and gravy filling... ratio to pie is great! Crust is nice and crispy! Piping hot as I would expect from a pie as you dig in so be careful with your first bite!

Thought I’d also try the chicken too since it’s a chicken place. Had the quarter breast... flavorful as it’s probably been marinated long enough. Just a bit dry but bearable with some gravy or sauce.

3.5 stars would be my rating but not possible here. If I’d come back, for a quick and easy bite for sure! Prices are reasonable... paid 10 for a pie and quarter chicken.

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant and the experience was excellent. The food is simply delicious, perfectly seasoned, and has that homemade touch that makes it unique. You can truly taste the quality of the ingredients.

The service also deserves special mention. The staff was very attentive, friendly, and always willing to recommend options or answer any questions, which made the visit even more enjoyable.

As for the atmosphere, it is cozy and welcoming, ideal whether you go as a couple, with friends, or just for a relaxed outing. The music and decoration create a warm space where you feel comfortable from the very first moment.

Without a doubt, it’s a place worth revisiting and recommending to anyone who enjoys great food with excellent service...
