I came to dine here pretty late one Thursday evening. The customer service was great; however, the waitress could have smiled more. Granted... I was there pretty late.

The meals looked sensational but tasted ... 'rushed' - for want of a better word. The Salt and pepper squid was too salty and the sizzling Mongolian lamb definitely sizzled- and ended there. The sauce was thick and tasted as if it barely had time to reduce and meld with the lamb and veg. The lamb itself was also chewy...cooked but chewy. The fried rice was so-so. I think my favourite dish of night was the starter- Sang Choy bow even if it was quite salty/sweet.

All in all, I believe my meal experience here fell short due to timing. Had I dined an hour or so earlier, perhaps my meals would have tasted as good as they looked. Customer service was nice enough. They were attentive and obliging.

I enjoy a traditional Chinese setting for a restaurant but 'Lees' could do with a makeover. The decor is dated and feels 'old'. For such a longstanding establishment I think it can afford to revamp it's image within the aged and ageing central business park area of...

Our dining experience last night unfolded like this: We were seated straight away which was nice. A waiter came within seconds to take our orders while we haven't even had time to look at their menu. Different waiters came around twice more in quick succession, third time we ordered. The first dish came. No rice. Trying to catch any waiter's attention now is like trying to win lotto. Finally caught one. Ten minutes after the first dish someone came and plonked the rice down without a look or a word. Now we have rice and a 'cooled' dish. Ten Minutes later the second dish came out, and ten minutes more the third. Dish sizes were on the small side, and the 'shantung chicken' pieces looked like they were just thrown on the plate drowning in sauce. We had barely finished and 'voila!' a waiter suddenly appeared and cleared the table so quick we were still swallowing the last mouthful. A complimentary fruit plate arrived, that was nice. We asked for the bill which came instantaneously. The waiter asked 'would you like to...

Absolutely waste of time. Saw "the best congee review on trip advisor"and decided to have it a try but turns out to be a complete nightmare. Thought the old deco is okay and mean traditional but service has blew me off big time. We as a family walked in at lunchtime(2 adults and 1 child), it was not busy.. only 2 or tables served out of 50? Waited to be seated AT the front door in front of reception for 5 minutes. Place is empty, guy at the reception gave me this look that he doesn't seem to care even a little bit for my existence and apparently he is on the phone with someone about his billing company??.. we were standing there listening to his compliant to another company for 5 minutes and still wasn't be seated. I feel so embarrassed to be ignored we decided to turn around and walked straight out of the restaurant! Horrible experience! Never coming back and think twice for trip...

We had salt & pepper squid, crispy taro duck, stir-fried beans with minced pork, sizzling black pepper fillet steak, free-range chicken, pipa tofu, mayo tofu, and combo fried noodles. All the dishes we ordered tonight were delicious although I felt like the portions were a bit smaller on some of them — especially the salt & pepper squid and sizzling black pepper steak. The free-range chicken also didn’t have much meat on it either. This place is quickly becoming one of our go-to spots for dinners with the extended family. Every time we’re here, it’s packed with families and big groups, so definitely book ahead! It does get very noisy, but honestly… who cares when we’re really here for the food, right?

We've been coming to Central Park Chinese Restaurant in Thornleigh for over 10 years, and it continues to be one of our favourite spots for family gatherings. The food is consistently delicious, authentic, and very decent – just like home-style Chinese cooking done right. Dishes like the steamed fish with shallots, crab noodles, and sweet and sour pork are always fresh and full of flavour. The team here are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this gem for anyone looking for great Cantonese-style Chinese food in the area. A true local favourite!
