Dear Chargrill Charlieâs Team, I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to express my deep concern about the extremely poor experience I encountered while picking up a delivery order from your store in neutral bay as an Uber Eats driver. Upon my arrival, the food (half chicken and salad) was already prepared and only needed to be packed. Despite this, one of your staff members repeatedly told me, âItâs coming,â and I trusted him. However, over the next 25 minutes, I watched as approximately 10 customers who arrived after me were served before myself and another delivery driver, who was also left waiting. If more customers had come, I believe we would have continued to be overlooked, which leads me to feel that this treatment was rooted in discrimination based on my role as a delivery driver. Unfortunately, when I professionally inquired about the reason for the delay, rather than offering an explanation or an apology, I was met with rude responses from four of your workers, who seemed to gang up on me. They suggested that I cancel the delivery if I didnât want to wait and continued to speak in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner, while laughing and chatting loudly in the background. At no point did I receive an explanation for the delay, and I felt humiliated in front of the other customers. Australia is known for its value of respect and equality, where every individual, regardless of their financial status or appearance, is treated with dignity. Itâs unfortunate that my experience contradicted these values, and I feel this kind of behavior only tarnishes the reputation of your brand and the culture of fairness we uphold here. To make matters worse, I was unfairly given a âthumbs downâ rating for unprofessionalism, though I conducted myself with complete professionalism throughout the entire interaction. I would like to understand what they believe I did or said that was deemed unprofessional. Although I was not wearing my GoPro camera at the time, I kindly request that you review the video footage from the storeâs cameras to verify the incident (9 sep 6.03 pm). I stopped by for lunch and ordered the Portuguese burger combo, hoping for the usual decent meal. The shop was clean and empty (no queue), but thatâs where the positives ended. Staff couldnât even muster a simple "hello," let alone basic attentivenessâjust total indifference.
The food sealed the deal on this letdown: Portion sham Paid for a regular meal, got a laughably small handful of chips. Burger insultThe "chicken" was a sad, paper-thin scrap buried under a mountain of cheap salad filler.

   Read moreI am not one to write reviews but Chargrilled Charlies Neutral Bay is not worth visiting. Extremely dry chicken and over seasoned chips which cost $25 (not cheap considering I can get much better quality at the local chicken shop at a fraction of that price).
Complained via email initially and the issue was "solved" by allegedly posting out vouchers to me. Waited an entire month and nothing was received. Finally emailed again and then they sent it out because I threatened to write a review. Wahroonga Chargrilled Charlies is MUCH better than the quality of food I received at Neutral Bay.
