Something went seriously wrong at this place today! We are regulars having eaten here most weekends for past year. Ordered a Big Breakfast for myself and very disappointed. First I asked for runny eggs and they came out rubbery but had no issue if they could simply make a fresh batch, waited ages so started to eat other items on plate. Bacon over cooked and stone cold, giant mushroom tasteless and dripping in greasy oil. Hash Brown wafer thin, no flavour. Avocado was just a small bowl of mush, tomato laden with flavourless herbs half cooked, sausage zero flavour and they served the most odd thing, a ball of cream cheese in what seemed like seeet chilli sauce, again no flavour so what is the point of it at all? My partner had Vegetarian breakfast, her dish much the same lack of quality all round. She had to return uncooked Haloumi, spinach on plate served cold and half cooked etc. Gave feedback to manager and was polite and discreet so as to be respectful because the cafe was packed with people and we usually enjoy going there. All she said was did we want it to be sent back, she didn’t care to offer to cook a new serve nor even apologise. I went to pay for our 2 coffees and again she made zero effort to even acknowledge me. She knows we are regulars so I’m baffled as to why she got so offended, dismissive and made no effort to turn a negative into a positive. If I was her I would’ve said sorry, coffees are on us and hope you give us another...
Read moreAwful Experience ! Today’s visit to the café was disappointing. The cashier taking my order seemed confused when I asked for an almond latte, instead suggesting oat latte, which I found surprising. After clarifying my order, I asked about the price, and she responded with a strange attitude, explaining it was due to the almond milk. I agree with the price. No issues there. Anyways, When I received my coffee, I noticed her demeanour towards me was noticeably different compared to other customers, which made me uncomfortable. As someone with a different skin tone, I felt singled out. It’s disheartening, especially as Australians are generally friendly, and never had such experience. this was a rare negative interaction in my experience living in Sydney. Ironically, the attendant, who seemed to have a strong Spanish accent, didn’t appear to be Australian herself. To be honest, I don’t give a damn about her and the cafe itself. Reason for putting a bad review is that the way I was treated for $5 coffee has left a negative impression, and I feel like I wasted my morning ordering coffee from here. I am never visiting this cafe ever again. I hope the café management checks their...
Read moreI went today for an after lunch coffee with my mom and friend, I ordered one cappuccino , chai latte and one matcha. My friend had one sipped of the matcha and taste that it was to sweet, she approached the waitress and the barista to let them know that her matcha was too sweet, they only reply saying that it is from the powder, she didn’t drink more and left it to them (they never offered her to make a new one or to make something else for her), when I decide to pay for the drinks , they charged me for her matcha, I was surprised as she didn’t have more than a sip of it, when I claim about it , who apparently was in charge asked me “did she drink it or not”? Yes of course she tastes it but she gave you back, then she asked me the same question, I gave up and paid for it as I was in a hurry but for sure never come back to this place as their customer...
