Crust Pizza Maroubra — Restaurant in Sydney

Crust Gourmet Pizza Bar is a pizza place I have never heard before until of recently. I was introduced by a dear friend of mine suggesting that they have very tasty vegetarian options. To be fair, I have never being impressed with vegetarian menu until today.

While many may justify that Crust Gourmet Pizza are more expensive, I can tell you right now they are not comparable to "Domino" or your "standard PizzaHut". Crust pizza are made fresh and each order I receive are loaded with topings and full of flavour. My personal favourite is the c.1889 Margherrita (with feta, extra $ applies) and the Vegetarian Supreme (with feta, extra $ applies). I have tried the other pizza they offer too, but these two were the most memorable one ordered the most.

I have visited now over 7+ times (perhaps even lost count) in the last 2 months alone - my frequency can demonstrated how attracted I was to their menu selections. Be sure to ask for the loyalty card which allows you to get a free medium pizza & large pizza once you fill it with stamps. Also, since two large pizzas is $46 = $23 x 2, be sure to ask for a free 1.25 L of drinks (complimentary, offer as of Oct 2020).

The staffs and cooks are very nice, courteous and does value customer service a lot. I cannot wait for pizza night again to return to The Crust. This place does not have dine in area. It only has a small table for eating, but take-away...

We've ordered regularly from here, having eaten and loved crust from the Clovelly and Sans Souci stores, but we have always received terrible service from the Maroubra store. This is the third time in the past few months where we've placed an order online, and over an hour later we've had to call and ask where it was. Terrible customer service every time. One time we called and delivery was going to be another 40 minutes (after already waiting over an hour) so I had to go pick up the pizza and argue for a refund on the delivery fee. This time we placed an order on a Monday night, which for pizza places are usually quiet, and an hour an a half later we had to call the store wondering where our pizza was, and had to call 3 times before they even answered the phone. When the pizza finally arrived we received no apology, no offer of resolution, we're very unhappy with the management...

Just woeful. Was given a delivery time of 80 Mins!! fair enough, its raining. I mean you would've known that a few days ago and could have arranged extra staff given the correlation between bad weather and the increase in delivery food orders but hey whatever. So 2 hours later i'm still waiting for my order. I call, get an apology and told that it would be another 30 mins. Whatever i'm invested now i'm going to go pick it up. I get there, its not even been put in the oven. I get asked 3 times by 3 different people why i'm there and what i'm waiting for. Oh the pizza was average and the garlic bread was burnt on the outside and the butter inside wasn't even melted, so yeah good job I invested right....
