This place has exceptionally tasty food. That's not the problem. I have rated Curry Monitor 1 star due to the fact that on multiple occasions that I have visited, the store denied giving me salad in the supreme lunch special. You can see this in a few other reviews!

It is priced $14.90 according to the board outside, however on the menu inside it is priced $16.90 where salad and something else are crossed out.

On the takeaway menus they have it priced $16.90, however nothing is crossed out.

They thankfully have charged me $14.90 every time. However the problem I have with them is that they charge $14.90 and they advertise it comes with salad, but it doesn't if you take it away.

It is false advertising. Plus having $14.90 on the board and $16.90 on the menus is confusing to patrons who could be falsely charged.

The lunch special needs to be $14.90 as advertised across the whole shop, It needs to be the same price for eat in or take away and include the salad as advertised for both.

I find it ridiculous that is advertised as including salad on a board that people walk past from Gordon Station who will probably not eat in or are visiting on a break from work from the Gordon Centre nearby.

The review is so harsh as they have an email at the front which I have contacted if you are not happy with the service. No response. Even sent a follow up email. I thought maybe it was one staff member's mistake. No. Every staff member does the same thing. They will charge you $14.90 but not include what is advertised.

I spoke to someone there today, I did not get the name unfortunately. They said they don't as it is cost related. If it is cost related, increase it to $16.90 as the menus say and include the salad. Easy, problem solved.

The only reason my review is 1 star as this has happened multiple times with no response from email and multiple staff not changing anything, even though I have pointed the board out to all of them. Nothing has been done and nothing has changed.

Make the supreme lunch special include the salad takeaway and eat in instead of only eat in for the same price or change the board to remove the salad, and this review would not have...

A firm family favourite, this is our go-to take-away place. Fresh, good quality meat and vegetable, delicious, friendly service and quick - completely redefines a curry in a hurry. We normally order a "dinner box" each which come with rice and a choice of 2 curries. The Butter Chicken is THE BEST and always forms one of the choices (everyone's favourite judging by how much of it they sell) with the second choice varying depending on the family member and mood.
