Jokbal (braised pork hock) ($55) - aside from the usual lettuce and perilla leaves for wrapping, it also comes with a sweet/spicy (tastes like gochujang and sesame oil) salad of lettuce, green onions, onions and choy sum stems (?) - I think it's called geotjori, as well as a pile of plain white noodles. The pork hock is tender and gelatinous. Despite the brown colour, it's quite mild on soy/saltiness, so eat it with the saeujeot (salted shrimp sauce), ssamjang and geotjori. All of their fried chicken ($35) is boneless, but it seems to be thigh meat so it's quite juicy with lots of dark meat. The soy garlic flavour is quite generic and on the sweet side, but tasty. The beef bulgogi dolsot bibimbap ($22) - it has a good amount of toppings, although the rice is slightly wet and soggy. Of the banchan, the sweet soy braised potatoes were my favourite - perfectly tender and flavourful. The kimchi was very raw and fresh and crunchy - I prefer it a bit more aged and tender.

I'd like to start off with the best qualities that the restaurant has. First, the quantity is fairly large, a dish intended for "two people" surely cannot be eaten by two people due to the sheer amount. Next is the service, the service was pretty good and the overall area was clean and good-looking. The negatives, however... The trade-off to quantity seems to always be quality and this seems very true in this case. The dish we ordered which was the seafood stew was large but did not seem fresh in the slightest. It also contained bones of the fish in the stew which made it seem larger. The seafood is simply just not fresh at all and the crab also seemed mushy. Not a good dish. Another dish I ordered was this beef stew sort of thing. It was bland, oily and I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. The toilets were also the dirtiest I've ever seen. Overall not a good experience....

We had ordered the Monkfish dish. The portion was huge and easily can be shared by 4 persons. It was tasty. Front staff service was alright. The restaurant is tidy and clean. However, the owner's daughter attitude wasn't appropriate as she needs to more concern about customers cause we could clearly listen what she was talking about other customers. Besides, the staffs also need to know concentrate on customers; not only on boss's daughter. Not gonna recommend to others.

Service was below average, we had an empty plate on the table for most of our meal right where the waitresses were walking past the entire time which they ignored. They were full in the middle section of the restaurant and to let customers through to the two seat tables that were free, we had to keep getting up from our table. No other table was asked to do the same. The customers that sat behind us were constantly knocking back into the back of my chair. It was not a pleasant experience even though the food...
