1 Star – A Scam Dressed as Entertainment: DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE. Complete Videos Will Be Shared Soon On Social Media.
I previously left a detailed review exposing DOOLEYS Lidcombe’s deceptive gambling practices. Since then, I’ve contacted them directly with a formal email, offering to discuss my experience and even sharing that I have video evidence of their machines manipulating outcomes. Unsurprisingly, they haven’t bothered to respond—because they know it’s true.
This place is not entertainment—it’s a calculated money trap. Their machines are clearly programmed to bait you with small wins and then gut your wallet as soon as you increase your bets. And guess what? The timing of their recent expansions speaks volumes: they’re using your losses to fund their renovations. It’s a disgrace.
DOOLEYS Lidcombe hides behind “PR responses” and refuses to engage when someone calls them out with proof. That alone tells you everything you need to know.
I strongly urge anyone considering gambling here to think twice. If you value your money, your time, and your dignity, STAY AWAY.

A Complete Scam – They Let You Win at First, Then Drain You Dry!
This place is a total rip-off. At first, it feels like you’re on a lucky streak—small wins here and there to keep you hooked. But don’t be fooled. The moment you start feeling confident and bet a little more, the machines turn ice cold. It’s a clear strategy to reel you in, make you think you have a chance, and then rob you blind.
And let’s not ignore the elephant in the room—THE RENOVATIONS. They just acquired a new area, and guess where the money is coming from? You. Instead of giving players fair odds or even improving the gambling experience, they’re using every cent lost at the machines to fund their expansion. The old gambling floor is outdated, depressing, and neglected, but they don’t care because their real priority is milking as much cash as possible from unsuspecting players.
This isn’t entertainment—it’s daylight robbery disguised as gambling. If you step into this place, expect to leave with empty pockets and a bitter taste in your mouth.

Read moreCame here last Saturday and the 2 check in ladies out the front were super friendly.
The food isn't too bad if you want pub grub (garlic bread was delicious but the steak was ok), and the Dragon 8 restaurant was also a hit or miss (Laksa and Singaporean noodles were delicious but the 雪菜肉絲 was pretty bad), but not the best place to take really young kids if that's what you're after.
Was super excited walking into this place for the kids play area. Unfortunately the excitement quickly dissipated as soon as we settled. A few things needed for improvement:
There is no enclosure for the play area so all 4 out of the 4 kids that we came with aged 1, 2, 3 and 4 all waddled out of the play area. We kept having to run out and stop the kids from running out the door so none of the parents could really relax.
There's only one restaurant on the same floor as the kids play area. It took us ages to find a way up to the Vietnamese restaurant as the lifts only went down for some reason. We then walked down the stairs only to find that that lift also only went down. When we asked the front desk, they said the restaurant was closed. Odd, as it was lunch time on a Saturday. While I was blindly navigating around, I stumbled upon a Chinese restaurant downstairs. Sadly the only eat in in its own establishment or take away. It would be more convenient if all the restaurants were all together in one food court kinda layout rather than scattered across different floors. It is clear they want people to spend some time on the pokie machines as there is a big room next to eat restaurant on each floor.
This isn't the most family friendly "Catholic Club"...
