I wanted a nice breakfast spot for Saturday morning coffee dates to which I found here. They have my favourite coffee "irish cream" and do pork belly panini. So they got two of my favourite things down. Although I normally just get my Irish coffee and scrambled eggs on toast, and that's enough for me. The price I feel is more than reasonable for the overall experience and haven't been anywhere else that replicates this on both menu offering and general vibes, even though it's located in a shopping centre the majority of the seating is in the back behind the counter seperating you from the humm drumm of the mall. The service is welcoming and helpful. Any negatives I have about Dahlias is rather minor and hardly an actual drawback and more of just a preference on certain stuff that you can't really change like the toast used. But it's still great...

Can't fault the staff the customer service was outstanding as usual the food was delicious But when the bill came I was shocked to see that the total for 2 bacon and egg rolls with baby spinach and hollandaise sauce and 2 coffees was $55 So I paid the Bill and left . I spoke to the owner about the bill and when he added the bill up from the previous day the total came to nearly $10 less than what I paid so I was overcharged he offered no apology or refund of the overcharged amount I left feeling disappointed that the owner couldn't be bothered to resolve the situation I won't be going back there !! * ( and didn't have mushrooms must have wrong customer it's really sad I have been supporting this business for year's.disappointing that customer is being blamed instead of owning up to...

Sadly I won’t be returning to Dahlias anytime soon. Debated if I should write a review or report what I witnessed. But I hope this review reaches the right people to stop this behaviour.

I’ve worked many years in the hospitality industry, and never in my 15 years have I witnessed someone being yelled at in front of customers, and the way this child of a man spoke to the girl, truly disgusting. I truly hope this behaviour is sorted out.

Questionable management. Was waiting for a coffee (the girl at the counter was lovely) just to witness a manager(or owner, not sure) yelling and being so rude. I witnessed the girl walk away in tears. Such an unprofessional manner, you can tell that the staff are overworked and the manager does nothing about it. They put a terrible name to...

So I have been on a mission to find the best bang for buck a simple coffee and eggs on toast. So today I tried Dahlias Cafe in Campbelltiwn mall. I have walked past this place many times and never tried it. Even though it was fairly busy the staff attended to me immediately and I ordered. As a self declared coffee snob the coffee was ok but not quiet there for me, but the food was as good as you could ask for. Just simple fried eggs on toast but cooked just right and good quality eggs with a flavoursome yolk, yes sometimes eggs just don't taste like eggs, if you know, you know what I mean. Coffee and food came out within 10 minutes of being seated. I would recommend this place and the price is great $12.50 for eggs on toast and lurpak butter.

I ordered the salmon noodles and when I received it I cut it open and on the inside was raw and freezing cold, I called over the waiter and she apologised and took it back. (I know this is not her fault she was a sweetheart). She came back and told me that the chefs said that the salmon was “medium rare” and it was “meant to be like that” I then told her the menu doesn’t say anything about “medium rare” salmon and considering the fact that i’ve never heard of this in my life I was shocked. About 15-20 minutes later i got the meal back and the next time the fish was served burnt, it was so hard to bite into and was just so poorly and disrespectfully made, I was disgusted on what was sitting in front of me.

Service was exceptional, but it's a shame the same can't be said about the food. The food was average for the price. Juice was excellent, service was above average but the most important thing is the value and that simply wasn't there. Eggs on the big breakfast were cold. They didn't put the grilled haloumi I had to ask for that. Bacon and egg roll looked like one of those truck stop ready-to-go meals. The roll was way too big or the fillings were too few. Disappointed to say the least. The kitchen needs some love and attention and this place will be awesome. Note Don't use egg rings teach the chefs how to do it properly.
