I popped down to the Q Street market on Lithgow Street and found the old house was open for visitors to walk through. I have to admit I have lived in the area for years and had never visited. The house was beautiful and the volunteer staff full of knowledge and very welcoming. The garden area at the back of the house was a peaceful oasis. If you are in the area on one of the open days take the time to enjoy this lovely...

Beautiful Historical Home . It was Open when the Markets in Lithgow St, were on. We didn't need to Pay.. make sure you Visit SHED at back of House. Full of yester-year Machinery., Tools, Bee Hives (Bee Free, though)! They have Devonshire Teas, you can enjoy out...
