I purchased the $12.95 lunch beef Laska special. This was the second time I had ordered the same meal but each time they came out different sizes. I was very disappointed today.

The size of the dish was half the size of a 375 mil can in height and width was possibly two cans next to each other. It was ridiculous how small the soup was. It was like the side liquid dish size you get with some meals…

I previously had the lunch special and it was in a bigger bowl… but this time it was ridiculously small….I left still really hungry and I am only small…and had to buy food else where… very disappointing…

You may as well spend $2-3 more and get the normal size… as it isn’t worth $12.95…

The food was nice but didn’t taste like traditional laska as it was missing the coconut taste and it tasted more like a tom yum soup as they served it with tomato…

I go out to eat all the time and this was my first experience of such a small dish. I spoke to the owner and he said that because it is a lunch special that is why you get less. I explained that you normally don’t get less for a lunch special, you just get it cheaper as it’s a promotion. I asked for a refund and it was declined..

I heard him later complain behind the counter about me complaining that no one else mentioned it before only me. I am sure a similar comment will be made after this review…

RUN AWAY from this place. We went for my 6 year old daughter’s birthday and ordered 8 meals for 8 people, they wrote down 10 meals and when the extra two meals came out we explained they weren’t ours and they returned to the kitchen. After finishing our meals they forced us to pay for the 10 meals, instead of the 8 we ordered and ate! They sent out the same waitress who claimed she read out 10 meals (she didn’t) and she did not accept that we had ordered 8 meals as there were 8 of us. The “boss” did not show his face. Clearly he would not cover his own waitress’s mistake. We were forced to pay to avoid creating a huge problem at our daughter’s birthday. Disgraceful. The worst experience we have ever had at a restaurant or at a birthday! Run away! They ruined me...
