Poke Bowl Campbelltown — Restaurant in Sydney

Decided to try this place out based on Google reviews since we were not from around the local area. It did not disappoint, I can completely understand why Novita receives the praises she does here via other people's reviews - she is an absolute delight to converse with and she was ever so helpful too! The poke bowls on offer came in a variety of options both pre-existing flavour combos already established to choose from or there's the option to create your own. Very decent size per serving and left us feeling very content and full (initially we asked Novita for some lids to be able to take away the poke bowls in case we could not finish it, instead they were so yummy we ended up eating everything haha). Ingredients were very fresh and flavoursome. We ordered drinks also however, due to our own personal request to reduce the sugar syrup level, this did leave us with very subtle-flavoured drinks, nothing of Novita's doing at all. Her colleague who also assisted with running this eatery was so lovely and brought out to us some sliced oranges as a light after meal treat completely free of charge. First time trying a poke bowl. I am usually very fussy when it comes to take out because I hate spending money on food that doesn’t taste good. I couldn’t believe how refreshing AND tasty the bowl was. It’s very rare I get to eat food that has a lovely balance of freshness, taste and seasoning. The woman who served us (I forget the name) was lovely and in just 6 minutes, cooked up a dish I’ll forever be hooked on! Also my first time enjoying prawn dumplings. Another dish I usually don’t enjoy because it’s either too oily or soggy. I went back for seconds!...

It’s affordable with huge portions and the lady who served us is friendly and goes above and beyond to help you get something to match your palate. When we got a large bowl she warned us about the serving size and dissuaded us from buying another one. When we couldn’t finish, she helpfully provided take away options.
