Daily Dose has quietly opened its doors in the much-loved corner spot locals will remember fondly, and while change can be bittersweet, this new team is stepping in with heart, warmth, and a clear dedication to what they do, with a community-first perspective. Seems that the core value of this corner cafe was never lost!

The space feels familiar yet refreshed. A balance between honouring the past and carving something new. It's warm and cosy inside as winter approaches. Sun filters in just right, perfect spot to people-watch and sip some awesome coffee as I get some of my work done during the week!

(In response to Kim's 2-star, slightly baseless review - I might add) From one customer to another, remember to be kind and patient with our cafe friends. These are early days, and with additional metro works around there, it's not an ideal situation to be in. They're not serving the full menu just yet as it's a soft opening in the first week of June, and I'm sure they're willing to listen to dietary suggestions if you're kind enough to let them know in person! (Update 10/06: Daily Dose has a couple of Gluten Free options!)

The small team is all smiles and genuine care. You can feel how much it matters to them that they’re trying to get this right. What a promising start they’ve made. Remember to...

Popped into this lovely new café that’s just opened around the corner from our place, and I’m so glad I did! The coffee was spot on - made with the Evolve Dark Roast Coffee blend from Roasting Warehouse, and you can tell they know what they’re doing behind the machine. Had a great chat with the owners too - they’re absolutely lovely and clearly passionate about creating a welcoming, quality spot for the community.

They’ve just soft launched and are still finding their rhythm, but the vibe is already great and the menu looks extensive - I’ll definitely be back soon for a proper brekky or meal and will happily expand on my review then.

Also, just wanted to say - this place is brand new, and with any opening, there are always a few teething issues. I noticed a review earlier that was a bit harsh around the lack of gluten-free options on Day 1. Let’s be a bit more considerate - especially when a place has literally just opened its doors and is still settling in. The owners have already listened to the feedback and added some gluten-free options, which says a lot about how much they care.

We should encourage small local businesses, not discourage them. So welcome to the neighbourhood - I'm thrilled to have you here, and I highly recommend this café to...

I’m not usually a reviewer, but Inner Westies need to try the coffee @ this newly reopened cafe opposite Dulwich Hill station. It’s absolutely amazing: not sure if it’s the Evolve Dark Roast beans or the barista but do yourself a favour and drop in for a cup. I waited ages to get into Ona Coffee but to be honest Daily Dose coffee is as good or better. The M-F menu is the usual cafe fare of wraps, sandwiches, soups and pastries/cakes which looked delicious. The weekend menu is more extensive so I’ll be back...

What a lovely place to have coffee and feel at home. The gentleman there was so accomodating to my partner and my baby and went over and above to make us and anyone in the cafe feel comfortable. The coffee and food was absolutely delicious and I would highly recommend dropping in for a chill brunch. P.S. the dirty chai iced latte was epic!!

yummy food and coffee, had the eggs benny with delicious english muffins and my partner had the english brekky. We are both coffee snobs, and we love how the coffee is done here. Jeff also provides great service, so overall a great experience. Would recommend
