KFC seems fine until you read the ingredients list. Loaded with salt, sugar, soy, wheat, random stabilizers and antioxidants, it fills you up for a few minutes and then makes you feel sick. Even Mcdonalds, surprisingly, has less rubbish in it.
Macca's Australia fries: potato, canola oil, dextrose and mineral salt. possible traces of sulphites (less than 10mg/kg). Cooked in canola oil blend (canola oil (ow erucic acid), high oleic canola oil, sunflower oil and palm oil. Meanwhile KFC's have wheat, traces of soy and a heap of trace allergens, plus 'filled with crud' seasoning. In a KFC chicken salad: (this is just the chicken): Chicken Breast Strips Containing up to 43% of a Solution of: Water, Seasoning (Soy Protein Concentrate, Salt, Rice Starch, Carrageenan, Dextrose, Onion Powder, Dehydrated Chicken Broth, Maltodextrin, Spice Extractives), Sodium Phosphate.
And do you want to eat: nonfat dry milk, citric acid, caramel colour, calcium silicate, thiamine hydrochloride, disodium inosinate, disodium guanylate, partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oil, silicon dioxide, thiamine mononitrate, monosodium gluatmate (yep, MSG), maltodextrin, hydrolyzed corn gluten and soy proteins, dimethylpolysiloxane (an anti-foam agent), sodium phosphate, monocalcium phosphate, sodium acid pyrophosphate, calcium stearoyl lactylate, sodium stearoyl lactylate, calcium peroxide, ammonium sulfate, calcium iodate, 'natural' flavour, 'smoke flavouring', monoglycerides, calcium stearoly-2 lactylate, lactic acid, calcium disodium EDTA, 'natural and artificial flavours', carrageenan, dextrose, rice starch, wheat flower (in almost everything, even salad), BHA, propyl gallate, sodium-reduced iron, soy protein concentrate, dehydrated chicken broth, corn syrup solids, calcium propionate, sodium caseinate, dried whey, sodium aluminium phosphate, natural 'grill' flavours.
That's real encouraging, KFC. So 3/5 stars for service, 1/5 for food quality and nutrition and creating unnecessary allergy risks.
Edited after response: KFC service is fine, staff at Dulwich Hill are excellent and comendable, and it's...

Wheelchair accessible entrance.. sure if you can get to it safely, the side walk is broken and has a huge tree / root bringing up the foot paths concrete slabs making it extremely difficult if not impossible to traverse in a manual wheelchair, the driveway entry is also difficult to manage in wheelchair.
DRIVE THROUGH. This is the stragest drive through design but whatever, GOOD LUCK GETTING A RECEIPT FROM THE DRIVE THROUGH THOUGH!First of all you have to ask for it, it is NEVER OFFERED or Just given to you with your change as it should be. When you ask for it you're told to get it at the next window, now if it is busy and you're in a long slow moving line and manage to remember to ask for the receipt again it's a huge production either they tell you you should have asked for it when you paid or they can't find it and start going through rolls of printed receipts looking for it. WHAT IS THE ISSUE WITH RECEIPTS ANYWAY??? there is another major fast food chain that is doing the same thing!! Conspiracy hmmm... 😀
On the last few visits (all my visits actually) the order has been wrong, something is missing or there's items in the bag a did not request or made a point of telling them I DO NOT WANT. My order is always the same though I do not go often when I do I always get nuggets and gravy ( gravy only no mash potato) and ask them NOT to put any other sauces the gravy is obviously for the chicken, yet they always put 4 dipping sauces. Now I know, whats the big deal?, but it is when it's just being wasted and thrown in the trash which is exactly what I do throw it in the trash. Maybe if they minimise wastage they can stop jacking up the prices $4.95 for a small chips that they only half fill, $10 for 10 nuggets The Prices are ridiculous.
As for cleanliness think of a squat filled with boys now imagine that bathroom... That's pretty much what you should expect if you need to use the loo. LET'S JUST PRAY THEY ARE WASHING...
Read moreThis store has gone so downhill. Order accuracy is terrible, every one of my last three orders has been missing an item. Food quality is not what it used to be. Customer service has tanked too - it is absolutely impossible to catch anyone’s attention at the counter, but staff are happily joking around with each other and saying hi to other staff who are off-shift.
A couple of years ago this place was staffed by the coolest bunch of kids who were really engaging and on top of things - now it’s like they have been told to actively avoid any kind of eye contact with customers, they don’t double check dockets before handing over orders, and they simply do not care. Management also appears to have cut staffing levels so that they are spread very thin.
Other reviews reflect the same sentiments - your business has suffered, and the owner needs to invest in staffing and training to stop this store totally tanking.
Response to business reply: I don’t want your cut and paste responses. I’ve already lodged feedback via the website (every time an item is missed), and received a coupon for my missed items. That’s all well and good, but fix your business so these mistakes don’t continue repeatedly happening. Your store has an endemic issue with accuracy and customer service, your platitudes are meaningless if you don’t actually work on fixing...
