Two days ago the driver arrived and handed me a $5 note stating that the dessert I wanted was not in stock. I asked why the store didn't phone me to ask if I wanted a replacement but he didn't know. They also sent the wrong drink but came back with the correct one about half an hour later. I phoned the manager who said that he will put a voucher for a free dessert on my account to cover the cost of the missing one. No compo or anything
The manager claimed that one of the staff had fallen over which created delays and that the store is out of a lot of stock due to the weather. I told him that's understandable but what is his excuse for not phoning customers to ask if they would like something else in place of the items they don't have in stock and he said they didn't have time because a staff member had fallen over.
Mr manager, without customers, you wont have staff at all. Don't use their unfortunate situation as an excuse to provide abysmal service!
Today I decided to try my luck again. I wanted to pay with paypal so instead of ringing the store to also claim the free (even though I had previously paid for it!) dessert, I decided to order online and leave the dessert for next time.
The driver arrives and comes to the door, realises he has the wrong order, walks back to his car and comes back with the correct order number but the caramel mousse is missing! For real????? Did this store learn nothing from 2 days ago????? Lucky I am not paranoid or I would wonder if they were doing it on purpose!
I decided to try the "loaded" nachos. The only thing it was loaded with was misery and disappointment. It is basically a box of corn chips with a few small amounts and small pieces of ingredients (not even a handful of ingredients, it's more of a pinch of each) and about 30 jalapenos (i love jalapeno but this is overkill). I had 2 mouth fulls but there was no flavour so the rest is going in the bin. If one person ate 30 jalapenos, the next morning when it comes out, it is going to literally burn their rear end!
I called the store to ask about my missing mousse and the young lass that answered the phone was lovely. She put a $20 credit on my account and when I asked her if the voucher from 2 days ago was still on my account from 2 days ago, she said it was never applied! So she then applied the second voucher for the free dessert.
Domino's Coogee, you used to be one of the best but your service this week has been absolutely woeful. Theres a $20 credit and a voucher for a dessert on there so wehn I find a neighbour that I don't like and want to torture, I will call to utilise these vouchers. It will take something pretty spectacular to win...

After 45 minutes ( with Deliveroo helpfully saying that the order had already been dispatched 30 minutes ago ) I rang the restaurant. First the guy who answered the phone said they didn't have my order, then found the order, then told me it was on the way, then said it was 10 minutes away. OK. So I waited. Nothing. Called back - spoke to the same guy who again tells me there was no order but for some reason had changed my order status on deliveroo to delivered after my previous call. He panics, ask if I would like to speak to the manager. The manager also went through the same spiel - they didn't have my order, then found the order, then told me it will be on the way in another 10 minutes. It was already more than an hour since my order, so I asked to cancel the order. He tells me I can't cancel it with him and that I need to cancel through deliveroo. Then while I was online with deliveroo, they put the deliveroo helpdesk through the same rubbish - it will be delivered in 5 minutes, then it will be delivered in 15 etc., until she finally cancelled the order for me about 2 hours after I placed the order. Everything from hanging up on customers, loud phones ringing out till almost 1 am every night, bikes parked with headlights left on beaming down Coogee Bay Road and getting orders wrong constantly. The clear priority for the staff here is to keep the loud phones going late into the night irrespective of how much it disturbs people that live nearby. On top of the fact that half the time the phones ring out without even being answered. We rang about 20 times to have the phone volumes turned down and they still argue, hang up on you or don’t even know what to do.
