I recently placed an order for a chocolate lava puff roll, which unfortunately arrived in an entirely uncooked state. The item in question resembled a log of raw cookie dough batter mixed with liquid chocolate, a preparation that may be appealing to some palates, but certainly not one that aligns with my culinary expectations.
Upon contacting the establishment, I was informed that the pastry is typically cooked while wrapped in foil to prevent it from burning. While I acknowledge the importance of proper cooking techniques, I must assert that such a preparation should not result in a product that is so severely undercooked.
As a discerning connoisseur of fine cuisine, I am well acquainted with the preparation and presentation of chocolate-centered pastries, and must express my disappointment with the quality of this particular dish. I trust that measures will be taken to ensure that future iterations of this item meet the high standards of culinary excellence that I have come to expect.
Regrettably, despite my efforts to rectify the situation, a replacement chocolate lava puff roll did not arrive until well over 40 minutes had elapsed. As a discerning consumer with a busy schedule, I must express my disappointment with such a prolonged delay, particularly given that I reside a mere five minutes away from the establishment.
As a patron who values efficiency and promptness, I must assert that such delays are unacceptable and detract from the overall dining experience. I trust that measures will be taken to improve the logistical operations of this particular location in order to ensure a more expeditious and satisfactory customer experience.
If such issues persist, I may be compelled to seek alternative dining options, as I hold myself to the high standards of culinary excellence that I have come to expect from establishments of...
Read moreOn Friday, 4th of April, my friend and I ordered 4 pizzas, 4 desserts, and 2 sides of garlic bread through my friend’s app. We received the order from a delivery driver named Barvik, who was extremely helpful. However, upon receiving the order, I inquired about the desserts as the salted caramel mousse, a cold item, was not present. The box, supposedly containing three lava cakes, was missing the mousse.
Inside, we discovered one lava cake completely smashed, appearing as if it had been dropped and then scraped back into the box. Additionally, there was another lava cake, brownies, chocolate dipping sauce, but no caramel mousse. Furthermore, we had ordered one regular and one cheesy garlic bread, yet we received two regulars.
Upset with these errors, we called the store, only to encounter a manager who seemed oblivious to Australian consumer law, food safety, and customer service. She initially refused a refund unless we visited the store, suggesting we drive there at a late hour, and insisted on returning the food for a refund. Her demeanour was rude from the start, leaving us feeling unsupported as paying customers.
The request to return the food in order to receive a refund raises significant food safety concerns. Once food has been delivered to a customer's premises, potential exposure to environments outside the controlled conditions of the store or delivery packaging could lead to contamination. This was not a concern of this manager, which clearly indicates she needs retraining.
When I requested to speak with a higher-up manager, she claimed it was impossible. Upon asking for her name, she refused to provide it. As of now, we have not received a refund. I am writing this review to inform customers and hopefully a higher manager about the rudeness and incompetence of the staff...
Read moreEveryone working at this store have no sense of customer service. I had a bad experience with their staff today. They took my order wrong. I ordered 1 veg and 1 chicken pizza but they gave me 2 chicken pizzas. When I returned back to the store and told them, they retaliated saying I only gave the order wrong. The lady with glasses, who took my order, didn't bother to apologise. Another male staff was apologizijg on her behalf. He said I can keep both the chicken pizzas and he will give me the veg pizza too as the 2nd chicken pizza was of no use to them. He took the 2 pizzas from me to keep it on the hot plate so they don't go cold. When the veg pizza was ready, he only gave me back the 2 pizzas as per my order. I don't mind missing out on the free pizza but I don't understand how this place runs. When 1 staff agreed to give the free pizza due to their mistake, why did the other staff undermine him and denied the free pizza due to her own mistake? There is no unity amongst their staff, no sense of customer service. 1 staff says something and the other staff denies it completely. The staff in the store is very rude and loud. They have no sense of professionalism or manners how to treat their customers. The girl with glasses is very rude, I don't know her name but I hope she learns a lesson or two about customer service. She needs to learn how to own...
