Donut King Seven Hills — Restaurant in Sydney

Visited the Seven Hills Plaza store on Saturday 23/09/2023 with my family and was served by an unfamiliar and unfriendly staff member who blamed her customer for her own forgetfulness when the store's Rewards Card didn't scan properly. No apology and no attempt to fix the issue. Not the first time the rewards card or app failed to work. They should go back to physical cards that gets stamped if they can't get it right. The same woman then served cinnamon donuts that were not cooked properly to the customers next to us who had to ask multiple times to get them replaced as the dough inside was still raw. No apology for them either. Luckily ours were cooked. Disappointing experience for your regular customers which you have now lost, Donut King, and we will not return anymore. We will also not be going to the cafe next door which was recommended by one of your staff members as the same staff works there so won't be surprised if this particularly rude staff member also works there as they are probably owned by the same people. Never again. Went to get a coffee at Gloria jeans but they had closed early so decided to go to Donut King instead. We ordered a coffee and were told the donuts were on ‘special’. My partner bought the donuts and told me of the hefty $18 we paid later. Whilst we were there another customer came through to pick up a few donuts and were told by an assistant the prices were $10 & $15. We were standing there listening as we’d just paid $18 when the owner interjected dismissively and said they were $18. When we got home (only around the corner) the donuts were stale and the icing hard. This place is pathetic. How do sell end of day donuts for $18 and say their on special knowing the quality is atrocious. Explains why you’re price gouging customers for products that would end up in the bin had we waited 30 minutes. And they say to support your locals....

The best coffees and donuts! I literally drive to go to this shop. Every staff here are amazing and always smiling (even though they are busy). Very clean and always quick on service. If I could give 10+ stars to all the lovely ladies I would. Thanks so much for making our day great with delicious coffees and the best cinnamon...
