Dougies Grill Hurstville — Restaurant in Sydney

Have been meaning to try one of our local eateries and I had been itching for a good burger.

We were greeted with the friendliest gentleman behind the counter. He was helpful and patient whilst I perused their extensive menu.

The eat-in option area was clean, tidy and I loved the hand wash option!

I ordered a double cheese beef burger, my son ordered the Juicy Lucy and we both swapped out our chips with loaded options.

The service time was quick, the food fresh as and the vibe chill AF.

The burgers were straight fire, non- greasy, fresh and an actual good size compared to other places.

The chips were crispy and the cheese sauce rich and melty. Once again, non-greasy.

The chicken bites (wings), were to die for!

I ordered take out for the family members that didn’t feel like braving the weather and they loved the chicken options.

We will definitely be returning to try other burgers and foods. Well priced, friendly exceptional service and compliments to the chef!

Let's start with the cons, the pricing is slightly high in the Hurstville area. Average meals in the suburb costs 12 dollars for 3 choice takeaway at cho's express (a must try spot in Hurstville). The seat is very hard and after having a meal there my bum hurt for real. Pros: The counter staff has good attitude, the chips quality has increased a lot, no burnt chips / soggy ones. All very fresh and fluffy inside. Tried the LA burger today instead of what I always order (dougies burger) and I was suprised of how good it is. Very yummy pattie, great heat in the burger with a nice warm bun. Really realy impressed. Environment is clean and there's a hand wash station for easy cleaning of your hands...
