Atmosphere was good, the barista whom seemed like the owner was friendly and attentive , cheked on us after meal came out, gave us a greeting on entry and when we were leaving.
But, firstly.... we lined up in the T/A line and a both floor girls passed us many times and didnt bother to ask if we were taking away or sit in? Until my partner asked if we could get a table?
We were seated promptly, given menus and told to order at the counter when we were ready. When we went to order we had to line up in the T/A line again!
Then it took about 45mins for meals to come out, which was fine as it was quite busy. The EBT was weak.... and the food came, I asked for eggs to be well done (scrambled) they were passable, but not really well done and had egg shells in 2 out of the 4 big brekkys, and I asked the waitress to please put my sausages back on the grill and she did not seem impressed, they came back they were barely grilled.
This place has great potential and the area in screaming for a great local, with equally great service and good food and coffee! I would go back and give the coffee a go...and one more chance!
Finally, if you ask your customers to order at the counter, have someone available to take the order...
Read moreGreat cafe in the heart of the Abbotsford peninsula and often very busy, a testament to the good coffee & food here. There’s plenty of indoor & outdoor seating but on weekends there might be a short wait for a table. Dine in and take away options are plentiful so if you’re in a hurry then get takeaway and have it in one of the many lovely park settings nearby. Today we had poached eggs on toast with spinach as well as the bacon & egg roll as a wrap option. Food fresh, generous portions and absolutely delicious! I wanted my eggs poached firm today and they were served perfect, thank you! The coffee (& hot chocolate) here is really good so worth coming at least for a coffee if you don’t have time to eat. The staff and service here are fantastic and the owner is very hands on and friendly with all customers. You won’t be disappointed - highly...
Read moreDue Passi Italian Street Food has become one of my favorite local spots. From the moment you walk in, you're welcomed by the warm, authentic energy that Gus and his team bring to the place. It's been such a pleasure to watch this business grow, and with good reason. Today’s visit was next level: I grabbed a charcoal sourdough that was to die for and unlike anything else around. For brunch, I had the famous Gus’ Roll. Let me tell you, the sauce in that roll deserves its own trademark. Bold, balanced, and unforgettable. A true slice of Italy on the street corner, full of good vibes, amazing food, and genuine...
