East Avenue Espresso — Restaurant in Sydney

I visited East Avenue Cafe a number of times in the past year, and on every visit I had a lovely experience. From the first interaction with staff upon arrival, enjoying my meal and coffee, throughout till leaving the cafe it's always been 5 star service. The staff is very friendly and kind, they make a real effort to make you feel welcome. Their coffee is great and made to your preference. I love mine extra hot, and it always comes just like that! Today I enjoyed a takeaway lunch with a friend of mine, and it was superb. I had the smoked salmon and avocado, and my friend had the chicken and vegetables sandwich. East Ave is thoroughly deserving of their 4.8 stars. Two stand-out differences between East Ave and 99% of cafes in Sydney are that the owner cares about customer service and he builds a team of staff that are all equally attentive and caring, and that you simply cannot beat this cafe’s value for money - the food is always of outstanding quality, the portion sizes generous, and even then the pricing is better than the vast majority of other cafes. An absolutely stellar combo, not to mention the coffee - different people have different coffee preferences, but for me, this coffee is bang on the best. Located at 20 Oatley Avenue, Oatley, Nee South Wales, Australia 🇦🇺 This is a great place very popular with the locals. Every time I walk past it’s crowded. I finally got the chance to pop in today for a quick visit and drink and it was lovely. So nicely decorated and a great view overlooking the park. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The menu is great, a great selection for anyone to choose a meal or just something quick to eat and drink. There’s not a lot of tables so as I said it’s very crowded when it’s busy. There’s only street parking 🅿️ and that gets filled quickly around Oatley. If you have mobility issues, or in wheelchair, you would have to sit at tables outside, there’s stairs leading inside.
