Love at first bite - it’s not often that you get a wonderful surprise, but tonight was one of those unique experiences A casual dinner in a local suburban restaurant that you had no expectations on, other than a casual meal and close to home. A rainy night a walk across a street and in through the door of a beautiful home style restaurant A warm smile and a hello to start the experience Menus water and time to discover what’s on offer, a glance and the service began with some suggestions on signature dishes and we are engaged. A few minutes later the first of many dishes appears with drinks Small delicate vine leaves - perfectly rolled - as you reach for the first still warm vine leaf your already anticipating the first bite. It’s warm soft and your already devouring it so quick Each bite is delicate and delicious Expectations are now widen to the experience that you hope will follow The food is Home made and fabulous- I cannot get enough of the garlic lemon chicken- the rice soft and buttery and the time spent on preparing old school dishes correctly - will inspire you to return This is a destination that is a must. This is a restaurant that creates amazing dishes and from the looks on customer’s faces is a loved destination.

Tonight I had the pleasure of eating some of the best Lebanese food I've ever eaten! 🧆 We ordered the Vegetarian Banquet (made vegan) to share and I missed getting photos of most of it because we got into it so quickly, so here's the one shot I took of the night. My personal favourites were the hummus and tabouli, balila, spinach triangles (with spinach from Eddie's own garden) and the stuffed vine leaves (which I don't usually enjoy but these were so good)! 🤤 Our host for the evening Eddie (yes, THE Eddie) was humble, attentive, and had such a passion for homestyle cooking. 🥰 I highly recommend giving Eddie's Lebanese Eatery a visit if you live near the St George area of Sydney. From the starters all the way to the baklava and tea at the end, it was a divine experience.

We had an incredible dining experience here. The food was exceptional, bringing the flavours of home-cooked meals to a whole new level. Each dish was bursting with authentic Lebanese flavours and made with the utmost care. From the tender and succulent grilled meats to the aromatic spices and perfectly prepared sides, every bite was a delightful journey for the taste buds. The restaurant captured the essence of Lebanese cuisine, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that made us feel right at home. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a truly memorable dining experience filled with full and flavoursome Lebanese delights, and not to forget the brilliant hosts.

This is the best Lebanese Restaurant around. My family had a favourite Lebanese restaurant which we thought couldn't be beaten but we were wrong. Eddie's is not just an amazing food experience but their customer experience is phenomenal. You walk away not only with your belly happy but a feeling of sheer happiness. The menu has a large variety and pricing is good eg $26 you receive a platter of mixed items. We went for a buffet for my daughters 30th with so much food which was $48 a head, the food was abundant and Eddie packed up our left overs to take home. The kebabs were set on rice which even the rice was amazing, am I talking about rice...yep because even that was delicious When you walk in, there are tables for up to 4 but a real surprise is the back area where they cater for large groups or if you want a more private area. I would recommend you book and if possible a week in advance. I really don't want to share this restaurant as I would love to keep it a secret but they deserve this review . This is now my family's favourite restaurant and we are Greek 🙂 With my excitement nearly forgot to add Plenty of street parking but becareful before certain hours (6pm) it only 1 hour before this time. Easy access for prams and wheelchair but would ask...

After the first time at Eddy's we are hooked. I don't think I have ever been to a restaurant with fresher ingredients, more tender meat and such a perfectly balanced taste with spices complementing the natural flavours without overwhelming. Every dish was better than the last - lahem mishwee was perfect - marinated and cooked just right, so juicy it tasted like a filet mignon. Kafta was a favourite of our toddler who doesn't eat anything that isn't pasta, it's the first time he tried and finished a new meal. Halloumi, fried cauliflower, falafel were the freshest I have ever had. Breaded whiting better than at any respectable fish shop, and shawarma was amazing. But what made the experience even better was the warmth of the hospitality. Eddy and his staff are the most welcoming, without any hint of superficial marketing promotion. Just sincere people who are happy to feed you the best food you can have in Sydney. Thank you, we will...
