Had a few meals here over the years, very consistent food and service. I stopped in after fasting 15 hours, and had an Ultrasound at North Shore Private Hospital located nearby. This time I ordered Eggs your way ($13) including scrambled eggs on sourdough toast, and I added Avocado ($4), Halloumi ($4) and Mushrooms ($4). I drank a Soy Latte ($5) after the meal. Commenting on the food and drink, the scrambled eggs were cooked differently from what I am used to, more a commercialised option, still tasty though. Three mushrooms for $4 is a bit overpriced. The half Avocado was spot on, good size and nicely cut, The three thin cut slices of Halloumi tasted nice, not too salty, but slightly overpriced, I think. I enjoyed the meal, and I was certainly full for the rest of the day. The regular coffee was a bit strong for my liking, as well. I will return to try the French Toast, and a pot of tea on my next visit, I have another scan booked next week. Staff were warm and friendly, ambiance was laid back, all in all a...

Hit and miss. Lovely meals made in house. I had a carrot cake. It had 5 green carrot pieces in it. It looked like this product was supplied by a third party. The service was friendly but poor. One person ordered an extra hot skim flat white in a mug not a glass, so as not to burn her hands with the extra hot temp. She clarified 3 times. She was given a takeaway cup. I ordered a small hot chocolate, as I know they're nice at this place. It was served in a latte glass with no serviette, ie too hot to hold. I ordered a carrot muffin with frosting. The waitress asked if I would like it heated up. I said yes please. I said please also bring it out at the same as the meals. Two minutes later I had a cold muffin on the table. I didn't bother to try to correct it. I suspect all these order problems were due to putting the order into an ipad, and anything that didn't go in was promptly forgotten 🤷‍♀️ this was 9.45am on Sunday. The Cafe was almost full, however it didn't seem busy, as an excuse for...

Terrible food, terrible customer service. If I could give no stars I would.

I purchased a hot chocolate and a red velvet cupcake. Hot chocolate fine. Red velvet another story it was hard as concrete like a rock cake. It tasted terrible. I returned product after one bite for a refund. Well the owner came out and after saying she would return my money she started attacking me standing 5 mm away from my face I had to move backwards twice. She was saying I'm insulting her and I don't know what im talking about. I explained I eat them regularly and hers was rank I kept asking for my money she was in my face basically bullying me as I had the hide to say somethig, her bullying behaviour continued for at least 4 to 5 minutes, all the while I was asking employee at counter for my refund, she could clearly hear the boss saying I'll get it but couldn't give it to me till she had her rant at me. I have never been treated so poorly by...

Edit on 1Jul23: We had brunch here today. Good atmosphere however one of the guy servers didn’t mind us even we are raising our hand to order. We also politely asked for a glass of water which he didnt provide the entire time we were dining in. We just asked another server (a lady) to ask for water. I can say it is better to have it take away compared in dining in. They need to improve their way of serving their customers. Ps. It wasn’t a lot of people dining in and ordering take away orders. Also, the guy is cleaning tables and not really mindful of us on taking our orders. ————————- My go to chicken risotto especially for a gloomy or a rainy day! I’ve eaten this more than 10 times and I love it! I ordered this via uber eats. The good thing about ordering online/delivery from Flying egg is that you dont need to wait for your order. I have experienced waiting for 8-10mins for my risotto order when buying at store. Hehe.
