Such an enjoyable experience. It's a really fun atmosphere, the food is great and the service is absolutely perfect. Highly recommended for special occasions or just a fun night out. We had the Nagoya Set which is good value and includes a mix of meat and seafood. The matcha ice cream is a tasty dessert option. Plus I love that they have a BYO option and are happy to keep it refrigerated for you and pour your drinks. 10/10 experience

Came here for my brothers birthday. Every plate of food we had was delicious! Although, they nearly forgot to give us our miso soup and the chicken was a bit salty, we actually loved everything else. We particularly like the king fish. The chef was also humorous and made our experience a great time! I’ll be coming back here!

Was here for dinner on a weekend evening. Food quality was good and service was great. The sauce was a bit too salty. They also have kids menu with a smaller portion. Can also have some fun when the chef asks us to catch a bowl of fried rice. Can also order pancake with ice cream for dessert.

WARNING- UNSAFE FOOD HANDLING PRACTICES

My family and I were really looking forward to an enjoyable Teppanyaki experience, but what we got was anything but.

The lady who greeted us was very friendly, but the service was not fantastic. We were not presented with a drinks menu until well into the service - and only after we'd asked for one. Once we had our drinks, we were regularly offered refills, so all was wll.

Our chef was ok, but not particularly entertaining. That's ok by me, as I was mainly there for the food. The first red flag regarding the food was when my wife was served a prawn that had not been properly cleaned. She didn't eat it, and we didn't say anything.

While the chef was cooking the beef and chicken, I noticed that he was using the same 'spatula' to flip the raw chicken as he was to finish and serve us the beef. I think everyone knows you're not supposed to do that, but I figured a restaurant that serves lots of chicken would surely be aware of - and adhere to - safe food handling practices. So, I thought everything must be ok.

We finished our meal and left. Over the next 12 hours, four of the eight of us became unwell with symptoms of food poisoning. As we had only eaten that one meal together, there was no other time when we all could've exposed to salmonella or other bacteria.

I am astonished that so little care was taken to handle the food safely. When you dine somewhere, you hand over control to the venue, and there's a significant amount of trust that's involved. We will certainly not be going back to this...

Service is poor. Food so-so.

Booked dinner for my mum's birthday from 5:00 to 6:30 last week. Chef is not as entertaining st the other teppanyaki restaurant we've been to before.

Around 6:10 chief was asking us I'd we want to have dessert for kid, a pancake. We said yes, and expected to finish our dinner on the table around the cooktop. However, at 6:15 the boss started to ask us moving to a table at the corner of the shop, to leave space for next round customer, but we haven't finished our dinner, not even started the desert! I told her No we haven't finished. Then about 5 minutes later, while the chief is cooking the pancake, she asked my husband and my son to leave the table again, still we haven't finished the fried rice, and haven't got the pancake!

And what makes me angry was there are another two tables sat on inside table, boss didn't ask them to move, but asked us twice before our time finshes!!!

I can understand that the boss wants to serve more customers, but we are also customer!!! Either leave some gap between two rounds, or don't try to sell more if you gonna kick us off the table.

Very bad...

  • FOOD POISONING — BE ALERTED* I don’t usually write reviews on dinning experiences but think it is very necessary to write this one. My family(2 adults & 2 kids) dined yesterday at this restaurant to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and unfortunately, it ended up being a night ruined . All celebration after dinner was canceled as family of 3 all suffered from diarrhea about 1 hour after the meal, almost at the same time, due to food poisoning, possibly the seafood they served was off. The little one was ok as he did not eat much seafood. The only good things, the lady who greeted us was friendly and the chef was somewhat entertaining. That is about it. the food tastes dull, never mention the fried rice. At $50 per person, completely not worth it. Did not experience anything resembling authentic Japanese flavors.

What’s more concerning is that, there were reviews about a year ago mentioning similar experiences at this restaurant. Seems food safety might be an ongoing issue there. Be cautious before choosing to eat here. We certainly won’t be going back there...
