We visit Auburn frequently and often notice this eatery because of the enticing picture menu on the street facade. It is a pay-by-weight DIY soup place (see pics) but also has a menu for rice and noodle dishes. We intended to do the DIY soup, but the menu looked so good we instead ordered Peking pork and chicken laksa. When i asked our friendly host about a green vegetable dish, she offered to make one specially although it is not on their menu. The food was ready within 5 minutes. Read moreThis place was one of our favorite until we discovered a mosquito in the soup and when we told them, let alone changing the soup the answer was "oh it's because of mushrooms, we don't wash them and they come in a pack and have mosquitos and other bugs in it" The guy even showed us the packed mushroom box. My jaw almost dropped. Anyway, if you are going to eat here, make sure you check your cutlery as well (See if it washed properly) it's not the staff's fault I guess, as the place is very busy, I bet they don't get much time to check all that. Food is good though but only if you get it with clean cutlery and without any...
