Guzman y Gomez - Mosman — Restaurant in Sydney

Disappointed, but might give it another try.

This chain came highly recommended to me by a friend, so I decided to give it a shot. Said friend told me it was better than any of the fast casual Mexican spots here in the US, minus Chipotle.

Not sure I can agree unfortunately. Now, I will say, I did get the food delivered so it wasn't necessarily super fresh. But, even so, it was a bit on the bland side. I was disappointed to see fajita vegetables not an option for my burrito bowl. And the queso really could have used a kick.

One of the items my friend had recommended wasn't on the menu, not sure if it's a seasonal thing, or they only offer a limited menu at this location. I was hoping to get something on the sweet side, but I believe they only had one dessert offering, and it didn't look all that intriguing.

I would potentially give this chain another chance, just to see if it's something specific to this location or an isolated incident. And perhaps to see if eating in-store would move the needle. That said, I won't go out of my way to...

I would give a zero if I could for service The woman who served me completely mucked up my order - no big problem but inconvenient - I called the store as soon as I found out and spoke with someone who said to return to the store next day - when I returned ( I was missing 2 tacos ) the woman who served me yesterday straight out called me racist !!! For her mistake I was shocked - English is not my native language either - she said she could call the police on me for racism!!! She said Her name was Marina so she said and that she was the manager there (this was not true as another person called her a shift leader) She remembered very well that I paid cash and said she viewed CCTV footage of my orders — I said great that will show the mistake — she refused to show me and kept repeating I was racist !!! I was so excited to see they opened a Mosman store but sadly it didn’t live up to the hype. Not sure if it was because they were severely busy but we waited over 1.5 hours for our order of 2 burrito bowls last night. When it finally arrived it was stone cold and my order was wrong. I got pork instead of beef and I don’t eat pork so it had to go in the bin. To top it off I couldn’t get a refund either. I would recommend not accepting Uber orders if you can’t keep up with the orders. Very bad experience and will be very hesitant to try them...
