There are few things better in life than eating authentic french crepes on a rainy sunday afternoon. And so there we were on a rainy, cold, grey Sunday at the Four Frogs Creperie in Mosman. It's started by four french guys and you can read their sweet little intro on their menu while you decide which one of these delicate babies you want to sink your teeth into. They have the sweet as well as the savoury variety. The savoury ones are called 'galettes' and that's what we ordered, as eating chocolate sauce drenched crepes first thing in the morning is frowned upon, unless you are a 4yr old! So, reluctantly I ordered the savoury, all the while wishing to order the suzzette, and I was in for a pleasant surprise. My crepe of chorizo, mushroom, cheese and avocado was super delicious, as was the potato, onion, chicken and egg with piri piri which my partner ordered. It was crispy with the right amount of filling in it. They mill the buckwheat flour for the savoury crepes inhouse, and also make their salted caramel and chocolate sauces themselves. The emphasis is on fresh food and you can see the chefs busy making perfect crepes at the open kitchen. The coffee is pretty good too. So why the 4 stars, the place is small and really busy, which results in long waiting time on the weekends. Other than that, I know I am going there one of these days soon for a dessert pancake after dinner! yeah the...

"Bolivia: Where the Andes meet the art of French crêpe-making? I'm not really sure, but I loved the way the salt flats reflected the swirling patterns of my favorite buckwheat crêpe from Four Frogs Crêperie in Mosman. The flavors of Bolivia are like a delicate balance of sweet and savory, much like the Nutella banana crêpe I had on a random Tuesday.
The people of Bolivia are warm and welcoming, just like the staff at Four Frogs who always recommend the lemon ricotta crêpe (trust them, it's a game-changer). And the llamas? They're like the reincarnated souls of French chefs, judging by the intricate textiles and weirdly-specific crêpe-themed blankets for sale in the markets.
If you're feeling adventurous, take a trip to the Salar de Uyuni and imagine you're sliding down a giant crêpe on a plate of Nutella and strawberries. And don't forget to visit the Four Frogs Crêperie in Mosman – the vibes are Bolivian, I swear. 4/5 stars, would recommend for the crêpe-obsessed and...
Read moreI went there today with my husband to have a nice start of our anniversary day. I ordered a galete with chicken, tomato e basil and received a galete with cheese and mushrooms. We were in good spiris and thought "well those things can happen". So, we kindly told the waiter, she apologised and took the dish back. For my surprise, the kitchen actually decided to trick me and only changed the middle of my galette. I don' know their reasons. If it was out of laziness or to save money. But instead of correcting their mistake and preparing what I ordered, they just took me for an idiot and changed a bit of the plate. A " that will do" attitude. It is so disrespectful to put some "make up" on the wrong dish and take it back to the table. So unprofessional to not own mistake and to treat the client as stupid. We felt so disrespected that we paid and left 5 min later. My husband ate a chunk of my plate and I ate a bit of what he had left on his because I was starving. But I will never return to a place that treats...
