This place is clearly a community favourite so my review is likely an outlier. There isn't really a menu, so I asked what the options were and got a vague shrug and told most people just get falafel. Falafel what? Roll. Two bread options. What is the best option? -shrug from staff- I ask for 3 meals, whatever staff recommend. Would have liked meal options like roll/chips/sides etc but the store was busy and there was zero information. Suddenly there was a rush to decide which salads and sauce to put on the roll. Sauce options not stated, had no idea salad options came with it...felt like we were too slow for staff but legitimately had zero information on what we were ordering because shrugs don't help. They have chips, a delicious cauliflower option...not offered, or explained. The store was packed, staff busy, rushed and really really unwilling to explain anything.
The food itself is great, but it's very difficult to know how or what to order. No prices are stated, it's all just a crapshoot. I bet their other dishes are great....if you...

The mixed plate was generously sized and could have easily served three people. The falafel was moist and freshly cooked, and the eggplant was exceptionally delicious. The customer service was incredibly friendly and hospitable. While they also offered a liver and chicken dish, I decided to save that for another visit. In terms of quality, taste, and price, Happiness & Middle Eastern Food Catering definitely impressed me. Despite passing by the place many times without trying it due to its busy appearance, I was pleasantly surprised by the quick service and fast...
Read moreAfter visiting the Middle East and eating the world's best falafels in Israel and Jordan - I've been on a hunt to find something just as good. I have to say that this place offers the best falafel I've had in Sydney to date! This is by far better than Jimmy's falafel and various Lebanese and middle eastern eateries I've tried. The service is extremely friendly and helpful, giving us options of additional umba (mango sauce/chutney?). The falafel plate is extremely filling and also comes with Iraqi bread! The roll is made to your liking. I highly recommend this restaurant for soft, moist tasty falafels!
Update - 2024, and still amazing. They also sell kubbah and other frozen food varieties to take away and...
