  • Highly recommand Falafel, roasted beef(don't know the name but it's roasting in the display of the store), chicken liver *

A friend kept insisting that there's a great falafel spot in Fairfield and had asked me multiple times to go together, but I always declined because it was too far away. I felt guilty about the repeated refusals, I finally went with them a few weeks ago, and the experience completely changed my perceptions of unfamiliar foods.

As soon as we walked in and, a regular customer of this restaurant, who lives 40 mins away, enthusiastically told us how he drives here every week just for their food. Then, the owner engaged in small talk and kindly explained each ingredients, and even offered taste tests to ease my apprehension.

When he handed me a freshly fried falafel and I took the first bite, I was genuinely amazed by how delicious it was. Another friend, who is a picky eater, was so impressed that he suggested me going again the next day, even it took us 4~50mins to get there.

A full filling Falafel for just $5, an unbelievably affordable price. With great taste, friendly service from the owner, and such a amazing price, this place ticks all my boxes.

I'm already looking forward to visiting again with my friends this weekend. It might sound exaggerated to go into such detail, but only those who have been there will understand.

Nice fresh hot falafel, great value for price. Tasty when just freshly cooked, the falafel balls perfectly crisped on the outside not to thick, with a balanced softness inside, which is cooked well with in. These Falafel balls have a touch of green herbs in the falafel mixture, making them flavourful. They are the best when had fresh, for the crispy crunch effect.

Nice Tahini sauce dip ( sesame-garlic dressing), & AMBA (iraqi yellow mango curry dip) to dip falafel balls.. Taste great with leafy greens, mint, shallots, tomatoes , Iraqi pickles & cucumbers.

Their Falafel sandwiches are worth buying as they're loaded with fresh salad & pickled red cabbage & iraqi pickles in amba. They use fresh Iraqi bread rolls to create awesome sandwiches, which are very filling & satisfying.

They stay Open till late which is...

First time coming to Fairfield after seeing some IG stories about the foods on offer around the area. In particular this place for their $5 falafel wrap. Customer service wasn’t the best, but it was fine. We ordered the falafel wrap as well as the mixed meat ($12) - the wrap was perfect, freshly fried falafel in your choice of salads and a sauce. The mixed meat on the other hand was too gamey and had a strong taste. We couldn’t finish it. However we noticed people coming in and purchasing 15 falafels for only $5. So we had to take some home. They were delish, but be careful, if you don’t have cash. They charged 50c. I didn’t care as it was already so cheap, but just keep that in mind. Will be back for more falafels...
