Hikari Sushi — Restaurant in Sydney

So disappointed in this food - the sushi/sashimi in the window was fine, edible, priced okay. However the hot food was really really disappointing. I ordered the chicken katsu donburi and it was so unappealing. It was clearly pre-cooked katsu and rice that was microwaved to reheat (soggy and weird texture to the crumb, dry rice), and there was for some reason a scrambled egg poured over the chicken and rice before microwaving - coating all the soggy katsu in unappealing microwaved egg. Also some hot carrots, onions and tomato(?) thrown on top - probably the whole bowl was reheated all together I'd say. Just really unappealing and disappointing dish, only managed a few bites before giving up. Really put me off ever trying anything else there again as I suspect all their hot food would be reheated in the same manner and not...

This shop is definitely the best sushi shop in chatswood with fresh ingredients, friendly service, and great price. The sashimi was very fresh and the hot meals were very tasty as well. The staff was very friendly and welcoming to me as well. In addition, they also support or provide sushi rolls for 3 schools which implies that this shop is very very reliable and fresh. In addition, the price of the sushi is unbeatably cheap, one of the cheapest but tastiest sushi shops in chatswood. Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for some delicious but...

How random that I would come across best Korean Fried Chicken in Turramurra, at a sushi shop of all places. Chicken was flavorsome, probably pre-marinated.. The batter was just right. If you had Korean Fried Chicken before, you know that the batter needs to be runny and firm at the same time, so you can see the 'running' crispy skin. Hard to explain, but the chef had it just right.

Sushi was good, but Soy Garlick Chicken and the Chili chicken was something to write home about.. so...
