The people who run this really nice little bakery have recently done some very good renovations. It has expanded the seating area out the back and the new improved area is friendly and away from the bustle of Victoria St. the seating is generally standard cafe, smaller tables and comfy seats. Bathroom facilities clean and good. The service and friendliness of the counter staff is such a nice surprise in this area. I think many of the smaller cafes are now realizing that a smile, a simple thank you and clean plates, utensils and a ready supply of napkins goes a long way, as does fresh water for your table. All these little things make a difference in a very crowded coffee market. Next, the food. Recently, I have had the Borwnie and the blueberry scone. Both of these were very very good. Dont think for a moment you will get something small and stingy. Both items were quite large and I had the pleasure of sharing these treats with some lovely ladies, which again, is always a treat. The coffee is good enough that we walk quite a distance past many other coffee venues in Potts POint and Kings Cross to get there. Long black, macchiato, piccolo and latte. I swap between these coffees regularly and the flavor tends to be more rich blend than the sharper single origin, although like many other things, I could be wrong. In essence, nice setting, nice bakery treats and coffee that matches and beats many other outlets in the area. O yes, the prices are very very...

My wife and I were up early and wanted something fresh and local, so we wandered over to this bakery at about 0600 on a Sunday morning...only to be assaulted by the delicious smells of goods being baked.

The service was friendly and pleasant, and they answered any questions and even gave us timeframes for things that weren't out yet.

My wife had the cinnamon scroll, which had a nice flake but wasn't as sweet as the ones in the states. It was fresh and good though!

I had a muffin that had pear, white chocolate, and something else. I can't tell you what was in it or show you a photo because it was devoured as soon as I started eating it. It had a very good crumb, fresh pear, and was just delicious.

The salted caramel brownie was chilled with a type of toffee (or maybe salted caramel?) at the bottom of it. It was definitely unique and not something that tastes mass produced.

Even though we are leaving today, we might swing back through to taste some other things on...

I had lunch here with my friend.

We saw the pastries in the front window and got excited! Then I searched to see if they had pies and sausages rolls, and they had it!

So I ordered a sausage roll and a strong soy latte. My friend ordered the pie.

We were so excited to take our first bite and sip of our coffee, but unfortunately it was nothing disappointing.

The sausage roll was cold! Burn and cold! Tasteless. It was originally cooked and left there in the cold! It left a bad taste in my mouth!

Secondly my coffee was so milky and weak! I ordered a strong latte (well it didn’t even taste like coffee) I am sad to give this bad review but I like to be honest in my review.

My friend was also disappointed with her pie and coffee as well, her pie again was cold and burnt. Both the pie and sausage was not fresh and tasted stale.

The customer service was also...

My neighbourhood bakery is renowned for its breads, especially sourdough, but it's the amazing pastries that have this local hooked. When in season, Infinity does both raspberry and blueberry danishes that'll make your eyes roll back in your head. If you're an early riser, head up at sunrise to get them piping hot just out of the oven — buttery, flaky pastry, with a hint of creamy custard and plenty of warm fruit on top. My all-time favourite (and standard post-gym reward!) is the pain au chocolat which they do so well: again their perfect pastry that flakes apart, encasing a few squares of molten quality chocolate. The salted caramel brownie is also truly incredible (but ask them to heat it up if you're having it now).

I stopped here for a coffee and a quick bite. The service was great, with friendly and attentive staff who made me feel welcome. However, the toast options were quite limited, and the portion sizes were small for the price, which left me feeling a bit underwhelmed. The coffee, on the other hand, was excellent—rich, flavorful, and exactly what I needed to start my day. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was less than ideal. The constant noise from the fridges and the banging sounds from the gym upstairs disrupted what could have been a pleasant experience. While I appreciated the good service and excellent coffee, the limited menu and noisy environment detracted from the overall experience.
