Lunch orders: Chicken Burger, Waratah Burger, Bacon & Egg Large Roll. Two hot cappuccinos and an iced coffee.

Both Burger buns are soft and easy to eat. The grilled chicken is tasty and the beef patty is meaty. Great taste and flavour. Downside for the Chicken Burger is the added Peri Peri Sauce wasn't consistent throughout. The Bacon & Egg Roll, the buns were similar to the burgers and contained double the bacon and egg.

And we were surprised that for a lunch menu, there weren't even any included sides, chips/fries or salad or maybe roast potatoes, either would have been good.

The strong cappuccino was full of flavour and not too Milky. The iced coffee had ice cream and honey (the latter, something different) was good, but the cup size for the iced coffee was a bit small versus the price being charged.

Not enough indoor seating, too many big tables inside. We as a party of three wanted to sit inside but a young couple sat and held a bigger table. Yes, today was icy cold outside. Maybe having heaters outside would be a great addition.

Service was great and pleasant. Very efficient waiting by the staff.

The menu was placed near the door entrance, so we didn't notice it at all, until another customer pointed...

Came here with a friend in 2015 it was good. I don't know what happened overtime. I came here with my sister because I wanted her to try this place to say I was extremely disappointed. I got a BLT sandwich which was nice okay although my sister ordered a granola bowl and mixed berry smoothie while she said it tasted okay portion size was unbelievable small yet I expected it to be big for the price they had really angry and disappointed in what we received. If you going to have high prices that fine but it is not fair on customers, it was a rip off and what we got was not worth the price we paid unfortunately we will not be back again as I do not think this cafe will change while quality was good there need something done with the portion control here please fix this up! I also wanted to state that you order and have to go up to the front the staff don't come to you to order which is what happens in the other cafes also you have to pay first before receiving your stuff.

Only positive thing I can say is the atmosphere was good it is a little cafe so it can get busy and full. It costed us alot of money. I expected more from this cafe but not what I had...

Convenient location expensive limited toast types, wanting wholemeal not white & seeded breads & Turkish. Seemed to be a bit of a language barrier with a few customers. May need a sign above the menus out side all lilac bit hard to see. You have taken my comment in the wrong direction I said nothing about staff to require a diversity comment. What I am saying is a language barrier exist when I heard other customers having the same problem I had. The language barrier was that 2 staff members did not get the conversation. This can happen no big deal but more & more means frustration crept in & a couple , myself & 2 other person ended up macking a decissions that was opposite of the intended. It appeared to be about menu. Mine wax about toast only.. no worries now I have the cafe another go twice since original review. I will just make it easier for you & myself & not come back as another person commented there are plenty of cafes to...

My husband has been raving about the coffee here for a good year but today was my first visit. We were lucky to snag a table for the breakfast rush - it’s a very popular local cafe. I ordered the eggs Benedict with salmon. He chose the brekkie burger. Coffee was perfection - great heat, great bean. Probably the best in Haberfield. Our meals were yummy. Parking can be tricky depending on your timing. For a couple, brekkie with drinks was around $50 which is reasonable in Sydney at the moment. Great service, great ambience. I love that they have the daily paper too - perfection for a morning sit down.

Lovely local community cafe. Friendly, prompt service, easy listening background music and plenty of on street parking. It was a cool, wet day but it was nice and snug inside, even with the front window open, which let is crisp fresh air. Coffee had a discernible bitterness, but was well-made. I had poached eggs, sautéed mushrooms and wilted spinach which was reasonably priced at $20. Overall, a great cafe for brunch and a chat with friends.
