The park was my first time going there because the park itself was very nice. There were seats for us to sit down to have our morning tea for 1 whole table area so it was very cool. There were playgrounds for kids to play on the swings or the see saw area which the little kids can play with parent supervision. There was toilets for men & women which it wasn’t very good for public toilets to not be clean at times for council workers to do their job properly. There wasn’t a BBQ area which I didn’t see one at the park. The water refill was good for people for need of a water. Play badminton on a sunny day with friends which i enjoyed myself. I saw owners having dogs walking into the park which the dogs were cute. Overall the did include a BBQ area in some places which it was convenient. The park I will reconsider going with my family one day.

Dog friendly Park with Cafe and public toilets (for humans). Conveniently located next to light rail station. Cafe serves light meal and dog safe coffee. You will find lots of fury friends here. Simply relax under tree shades next to the river is enjoying. Highly recommended if you love dog.

This Playground has just been renovated, so we had to give it a go. We weren’t disappointed! My son (2), had the best time. There are so many options for all ages, and I didn’t once think “oh, this isn’t very safe”. The playground is huge, and I can’t wait to take my little one back.

Great walks along the canal that will lead you to the Bay Run at the eastern end. The Canal is the Border line that separates Leichhardt council and Ashfield Council. It is approximately 1 klm long from Marion St, loads of trees for summer shades and kids playground, BBQs but make sure you bring extra chairs for seating or just some rugs. There is always parking on Hawthorne parade and nearby streets.

Tennis courts and netball courts are always full for our kids and adults doing coaching and enjoying themselves, and these are free, so don't expect it to be in top condition all the time.

Across the canal is the bones cafe and the dog park, and is always full of activities. Come visit or just stop by when you are...

I didn't have time to take some photos, but I'll do a good fair, long review. The park we went there was very long, not that big. There was a playground nearby where we sat at one whole time with chairs that included a roof, which it was nice there was also a bin that was close by it was convenient and the toliets well not that super clean said one of my close friend who also reviewed the park as well. So apart from that we've played badminton with my friends, although the grass was somehow wet due to a long week of weather that we had no choice but to play on a small but fair concrete where people or people with dogs bring them for a walk which I felt a bit bad for them but anyways a...
