The Good: Café Bones Leichhardt is a dream for dog lovers! It’s not just a dog-friendly café—it’s a full-on pup paradise with a fantastic dog menu, from muffins to treats, plus plenty of space for off-leash fun. The staff are always friendly, and the park itself is well-maintained with poo bags readily available. The atmosphere is great, with well-behaved dogs and owners, and the canal running alongside adds to the charm (even if my pup did take an unexpected swim—thankfully, he found his way back!). The Room for Improvement: Not much to complain about here! The only slight challenge is if your dog is a little too adventurous (like mine) and takes an impromptu dip in the canal, but that’s all part of the fun, right? Would I Return? Absolutely! Whether for a coffee, a treat for the pup, or a stroll along the Bay Run, Café Bones Leichhardt is a regular go-to. The Verdict: In conclusion, if you have a dog (or just love them), Café Bones is a must-visit. Great vibes, happy pups, and a fantastic spot to relax while your furry friend enjoys some off-leash fun. 🐶☕

HIDDEN GEM! Stumbled upon this place as I was hunting a good place to sit and sip coffee. I don’t really have a dog in Australia she stays abroad but I went there anyway. (She’ll be looking at the lovely pictures when I see her next) Sitting down at this place was so relaxing. Lots of wagging tails and loving pup parents. It’s so relaxed, right by the stream my dog would’ve loved it here. 🥺 Coffee and food was good enough, but the highlight of this place is definitely the setting it resides in.

Dog cafe... nice place to chill with the added bonus of like being in a zoo full of different dogs on a good day, expect to step on dog poo or a little puddle once in awhile (obviously since there are dogs). Once in awhile you may encounter an obnoxious people that dine in the cafe with only their pets to comfort them.. cant win em all, and if you would like a little bbq with the family theres a bbq area right across the river with a kids playgound win win for both my kid n dog

Nestled within the heart of a lush, off-leash dog park, Cafe Bones is an absolute gem for pet lovers and coffee enthusiasts alike. I have been visiting this the café for over 10 years, and I can't stop raving about the incredible experience it offers. The pet-friendly ambiance is simply unparalleled. The sight of dogs of all breeds and sizes mingling happily, tails wagging, and making new friends is heart-warming. It's a true haven for pet owners who can enjoy their coffee without the worry of leaving their furry friends behind. What sets Cafe Bones apart, aside from the fantastic coffee and food, is the way it fosters a sense of community among its patrons. The shared love for dogs creates an atmosphere of camaraderie that's hard to find anywhere else. It's truly heart-warming to see pets and their owners mingling, exchanging stories, and building bonds. The staff at Cafe Bones deserves a special mention. They are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and attentive. They take the time to engage with both customers and their four-legged companions, making everyone feel welcome and valued. In conclusion, Cafe Bones is a hidden treasure for dog owners, coffee enthusiasts, and anyone seeking a cozy, pet-friendly haven. The coffee is outstanding, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. It's a place where the love for our furry friends meets the love for a perfect brew. I can't recommend it highly enough – do yourself and your pup a favour and visit Cafe Bones. You won't be...

Whilst location is wonderful for dogs, I found the staff and food to be wanting. My table ordered a naked chicken burger, a naked beef burger and a beef burger. The chicken was found to be cold and very very dry. Both naked burgers, are the same price as a normal burger, which is not value for money as the don’t have any food bun. Additionally puppy snacks such as pupffins(dog muffins) and pupachino’s (a bowl of milk with a powder sprinkled over it) are extremely over priced. The staff (and this is professional criticism), were not friendly or accommodating. When asked what is the sprinkle powder on the pupachino, it is suggested that they not roll their eyes at you and and answer in a tone that indicates that it is an effort to answer saying ‘don’t know’. Furthermore, when asked what type of pupffins are available, don’t point to an empty basket in front of you and say ‘there they are’, and then when the customer points out that it’s empty, don’t say ‘uhhh’, and storm off and grab some from out the back. The staff present on Sunday 17 December 2023, should have a large amount of professional embarrassment, for their lack of...
