Experience. Mid morning 06/04/24
Getting quite tired of this place and it’s 20 minute time slots. Every time I come here it’s a 20 minute wait for food. EVERY SINGLE TIME. Dine in or drive thru it doesn’t matter. 20 minutes and I’m not joking.
On this visit I want to point out it was a lack of staff the manager was doing a good job by himself out the front trying to keep up and he still had good manor when speaking with the customers. Kudos to you mate. I wished I could still handle stress like that.
Anyways
Food: 5/10. Generally the food is fresh here when it is it’s closer to a seven. It is hit and miss and when they miss they are off by a mile and it’s not even fit for the dog.
Atmosphere: 7/10. One of the tidier stores. Even on my arrival there was someone cleaning a window. Not sure why considering everyone else was getting pumped behind the counter.
Total experience : 1/10 At the 15 minute mark of waiting for my order I was informed there was no sausage. I was offered extra bacon instead. Considering the wrap already had bacon I would normally refuse and go for the refund. You cannot expect someone to stand there for 15 minutes followed by a further 5 minutes and only give them half of what they want/ paid for. However on this occasion I accepted due to the polite manager and the main fact I payed with PayPal and couldn’t be bothered with the head ache.
Conclusion. All in all I think all the stores in the area are pretty poor anyways just this one happens to be super slow. To the store manager. Hire more/better staff. If people are pulling sickies on a Saturday morning maybe it’s time to hire...

Hungry Jack’s has been a staple in the Australian fast food scene for decades, and for good reason. Known for its flame-grilled burgers and generous portion sizes, it offers a satisfying experience for those craving a classic, no-fuss meal.
Food Quality: The signature Whopper remains a standout—juicy, smoky, and packed with fresh ingredients. Their beef patties taste noticeably better than some competitors thanks to the flame-grilling method. Sides like thick-cut chips are always crispy and well-seasoned, and the onion rings are a fan favourite. They also cater to a wide audience with options like plant-based burgers, breakfast menus, and frozen drinks.
Value for Money: Hungry Jack's offers great value, especially through their app-exclusive deals and penny pincher items. For students or families, the discounts and combos make it an affordable choice without sacrificing portion size.
Service: Service varies by location, but generally, the staff are friendly and efficient. Wait times can fluctuate during peak hours, but mobile ordering through the app can help avoid delays.
Ambience: Most locations are clean and casual, ideal for a quick bite or a family meal. Some outlets have updated interiors with self-serve kiosks, making the experience more modern and convenient.
Final Thoughts: If you're after a classic Aussie burger joint that hits the spot without breaking the bank, Hungry Jack’s is a solid choice. It might not be gourmet dining, but for a fast food chain, it delivers on taste, value, and variety.

Read moreI don’t normally leave bad reviews, but after my experience at Hungry Jack’s Campbelltown Market Fair today, I feel compelled to warn others. My wife, son, and I went there for breakfast, and what unfolded was nothing short of disgusting.
The food was mediocre at best—overcooked and clearly thrown together without care—but that wasn’t even the worst part. A few bites in, I thought I saw one of the staff handling food put her hand down her pants, presumably to scratch herself, before continuing to prepare meals. I sat there, stunned, unable to believe what I had just witnessed.
Determined to convince myself I was mistaken, I stopped eating and kept watching. To my horror, it happened again—not once, but twice more. After the first incident, I told my wife, who understandably thought I must be exaggerating. So, she watched too. Sure enough, she saw it happen as well.
At that point, we were all completely repulsed. None of us could bring ourselves to eat another bite. We demanded a refund, which we received, but honestly, that’s not enough to erase what we saw.
This level of unhygienic behavior is unacceptable in any setting, let alone a place where food is being prepared and served to paying customers. Management needs to seriously address their staff's training and basic hygiene practices, because what we experienced today was beyond disgusting.
If you value your health and your stomach, avoid this place...
