I come here pretty often and have always found the service and food really good. However, today (Saturday 3 December) at 130pm I had a shocking experience.
My mum’s boss gave her a voucher to Zeus in June this year which she was told was valid for a year (no expiry date was written on the voucher). However, the Zeus worker rudely told us that vouchers are only valid for a month so we would have to pay. After a long discussion, the Zeus worker accepted the voucher. But we were shocked by how incredibly rude and disrespectful he was towards us using a voucher that was clearly still valid and didn’t even have an expiry date on it.
The Zeus worker told me that they were unable to take chili and aioli off my pita wrap. I know this is a lie as every time I go to zeus I get that exact order with those exact ingredients removed (as I have intolerances to them) and the Zeus staff are always happy to do this. When I received the pita it had no ailoi but was incredibly spicy.
Overall, very disappointing experience due to the terrible...
Read moreI guess that we were pushing it for 7pm on a Monday night on a long weekend but I have to say that after strong recommendations and excellent reviews, I was left disappointed and not just because we were told that they were closing in 15 minutes at around 8:30 and by implication, would have to leave. Firstly we spent $140 for the four of us and really for that amount of money it was lucky we weren't that hungry. The 200gm lamb included quite a bit of fat and gristle and was not particularly tender, the salads too chunky and unappealing and my barramundi Sparta Bowl arrived long after the rest of our orders. The fish reminded me of fish fingers though small portion of the chips were good. Judging by other reviews here, I think that the key is to aim for the takeaway wraps and not expect a restaurant experience, particularly on the tail end of a...
Read moreHave been walking past this place many times, but decided to try it out. We ordered two wraps, Tzimmy lamb and Zeus. The Zeus was pretty alright, a little bit too charred for my wife’s taste but overall she loved it, giving one extra star for that. However, the meat in the Tzimmy I got was completely burned, I couldn’t taste it at all. Since I was in a hurry I didn’t go back to complain, and simply left almost half of the meat uneaten with a bad taste in my mouth.
Don’t see myself coming back any time soon, the people in the kitchen must have known what they were doing when they prepared the wrap, but just didn’t care. There’s excellent Green lamb wraps at the Manly Beach at a competitor’s and I’ve never had a...
