Stumbled upon this little cafe that was very busy. Always a good sign so we waited to get a seat for a few minutes. A good variety menu. Service was great with both waitress and chef lovely and never had to wait long at all. We order via the QR code on the table, but you can go up to the counter to order as well.
Ordered the Italian scrambled eggs. It was huge and delicious. Lots of eggs, was not light on the serving. With a thick piece of bread underneath. I would have liked this bread a bit firmer but it did have eggs sitting on it. I asked for hollandaise sauce on the side, otherwise usually poured on top. I could have been fine with a half serve for just myself.
I did ask for halloumi on the side as this was only an extra $3!! How could you not. I couldn't eat everything but even the halloumi was sooo tasty and cooked perfectly. My friend helped me polish off mine after they finished theirs.
If I'm in the area again I would definitely seek out this Cafe and try something else on the menu. There really isn't much I can fault...

After calling them out on social media the owner immediately contacted me to rectify the situation. He was apologetic but made a very god point that I should've just asked in the first place rather than not saying anything and putting it on social media. Very fair point and very much appreciated the super quick response. They also offered a coffee on the house for our next visit. Secondly, Bacino Balgowlah has the best chocolate gelato shake in Sydney. Though sometimes you can get an off day where they've either run out of chocolate or mistakenly put vanilla instead. 9 times out of 10...
Read moreit appears that when the cafe is busy, they tend to play roulette with heyyou orders, postponing/displacing/forgetting the order in which the dockets print off to appease the customers they can physically see waiting. several times i have ordered ahead during my commute and am left waiting substantially longer (10-15min for one coffee upon arrival, despite pre-ordering) than the revolving door of passersby, every time resulting me opening my shop late. the concept of ordering ahead from this establishment is literally counterproductive and not the greatest way to...
