IKEA Restaurant — Restaurant in Sydney

I'm giving 5 starts because it's a self service. What can you expect 🤔 maybe it's not worth it or not good enough. But I can tell you the food is great 👍 tasty and delicious for the price you are paying ,an average place with great food. Dessert 🍨 is awesome and tasty, apple slice and hazelnut milk chocolate slice so delicious 😋 5 starts. It is a busy food place which I didn't expect be busy as its a furniture outlet. Families come for lunch all the time. You get free refills when purchasing coffee or tea just for $2.5 and cake slices are around $5 each. Good place to come relax have a feed and might do some shopping. I enjoyed eating at ikea and will always come back . You can't go wrong with this eatery , looking to come back when I have a chance. Terrible delivery service. I’ve ordered online, the truck was supposed to be here last Friday. They said it’s been deferred until today, yesterday there’s a message saying it couldn’t be delivered but it wasn’t supposed to be yesterday, at 8 am. I get a message saying it couldn’t be delivered, but I’m sitting here waiting, I call the delivery company that IKEA outsources to they advise me that the goods are in the back of a truck, but it’s a driver’s day off and now he will come Boxing Day. Clearly with the holidays it would’ve been good to have gotten the furniture up and working and now I’ve had three occasions where the goods have been promised but not delivered. Beyond disappointing food, the gravy isn't even swedish gravy! And the portions sizes is a joke and so is the prices. It says that there were sparkling drinks they were all flat and there were no pear flavour like it has always been in the past. The shop downstairs is depressing with very limited stuff to buy and 99% of all the brands are just a cheap copy out of the original Swedish stuff but way overpriced. As a Swede living on the other side of the world I'd like to be able to go to Ikea and eat and buy real SWEDISH food considering it's a Swedish shop! Bring the Swedish gravy back as well as the real Swedish brands...
