Was pretty keen to try this new sashimi/Korean restaurant but after this first time dining, I realise this place is not for me or my family.
One thing I noticed is that when we were seated, no water/cups were provided. I observed other tables, where Korean customers were seated, that they got their water straight away. I had to try get the attention of a waitress and cause they kept looking down and away from diners I ended up walking up to them asking for water.
We ordered the mixed sashimi large, the tuna sashimi set, seafood pancake, Nagasaki hotpot and abalone/seafood sashimi with spicy cold soup.
Out of the $350 spent I only really enjoyed the corn cheese that came with the tuna set and the mixed sashimi.
The tuna pieces were not cut well, some pieces very chewy to the point that it was not possible to eat, some pieces were very mushy overall not that enjoyable and overall a bit of a let down.
We asked if the Nagasaki hotpot was spicy before ordering where the waitress said it wasn't and that it came with Udon, so we ordered that. When we tried it, it was the spiciest dish out of the bunch. The hotpot came first then the Udon but I had to follow up with a waitress on the Udon where the other waitress said it didn't come with Udon. I told her we were told it did so she had to get the other waitresses to address this. Finally our Udon came separate and she said this hotpot is not spicy for Koreans.... you can clearly tell I am not Korean so your initial advice was not helpful. We wasted money on this hotpot and would not have ordered it if we knew it "wasn't spicy for Koreans"....
I do not recommend this place unless you are Korean. It's clear to me what clientele they want there. Save your money and go...
Read moreCame here on a Sunday hoping to try their seafood which looked very nice on their menu from the photos. We ordered 2 different lunch sets. Raw fish sashimi with korean table d'bote for 2 ($26pp so $52) & the Nagasaki hot pot set $58. Each lunch set came with a side dish pancake (as per menu) however we were cheated with just getting 1 pancake. I asked the waitress why we only had 1 pancake as we ordered 2 sets. She advised the size of the pancake we got was for 2 & it was free. I looked at other tables who also ordered set lunch and the size of the pancake was the same as ours..Ours was definitely not bigger. So the waitress was openly lying to us thinking we're blind. And excuse me..What do you mean it's "free"? We paid for it in the set. How would it be free?
The sashimi serving was not big..Looked big in the photos as the bottom of the plating was all ice. I guess we were deceived into ordering the sets as their menu mainly were sets..Which came with a soup which was very ordinary and pancake very ordinary too...Still we were definitely cheated with just getting 1 instead of 2 pancakes as you can see from the menu. The Nagasaki hotpot, the soup was a bit disappointing flavour wise lacked depth was ordinary, the swimmer crab was not sweet, the octopus was too chewy Sashimi overall was fresh...Was just sashimi which requires no cooking anyway. Presentation wise they just served it on a mountain of ice below on a plate which looked big. The table settings was also too closely seated. Not comfortable at all. Definitely first & last time here. Could have better sashimi & seafood elsewhere with the money spent. Not...

Recommended to me by a friend and definitely a pleasant surprise. Have had Korean sashimi at a different place closer to Lidcombe station and was underwhelmed, but, this was much better in all facets. Service and vibes are good and, although busy, food comes out at a good pace.
Overall, definitely one of the better Korean sashimi restaurants in Lidcombe. Worth trying but make sure you're hungry.
Banchan: S, 8/10. Just the usual suspects though the steamed pork belly was nice.
Pancake: S, 8/10. Good but not exceptional Corn cheese: S, 8/10
Sushi platter: S, 8/10. Also solid, though, would have appreciated one piece of each type of nigiri so everyone could try everything
Sashimi: SS, 9/10. Quite good, lots of variety and quite fresh.
Tempura: SS+, 9.5/10. Very impressed. Definitely the best part of the set. Freshly fried with excellent crunch but not oily.
