I'm not happy writing this review here, as i love Turkish food and respect Turkish people i enjoyed their worm hospitality for many years around the world and in turkey specifically. Unfortunately I had the worst experience last Saturday in this Turkish beautiful location.i had breakfast with my guest who just arrived that morning from Paris I'm not against their system ( takeaway and dinning in has to happen after a loooooong queue but the Issue is when you just want to add an item to your table has to go to the queue again 😡. I tried to suggest to the staff the idea of while someone is already eating it's not nice ( hospitality industry) to leave their guests / table and go stand in a queue for 15 mins just to add ( bread or a drink) The staff replied "WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ???? IN A RUDE WAY SAID TALK TO THE SUPERVISOR BY DIRECTING HIS HAND TO 3 PEOPLE. i said I'm not complaining I'm just trying to suggest a point might be a solution. SUDDENLY one of the staff speak up "THIS IS HOW IT'S IN STARBUCKS" IS THE SAME . That was the worst i could hear .why would someone compare his business quality to an other business thinking that is the best stander. as well not to forget the bread wasn't fresh ( over toasted, the Burek was fried in a stinky oil. They service is HORRIBLE/ BEING BUSY DOESN'T MEAN THE BUSINESS...

I had a terrible time at Jezve cafe today with my friends. The food was mediocre, the coffee was awful, and the prices were outrageous.
Wait a minute... let's take a look at their Google reviews. To our surprise, there are over 100 5start positive reviews in the past 2 weeks time frame along. All of the reviews share the same pattern, praising the cafe’s coffee, best food, best crew, and best service. There isn’t even a single 4-star review. In average this business received 5-8 reviews per month in other period.
This practice of buying positive reviews is known as review manipulation, and it is both unethical and can have serious consequences. Usually, businesses pay outside companies to create hundreds of positive reviews in a short amount of time, which is a dishonest way to attract customers.
Message To The Owner It’s important to remember that reviews are meant to be a reflection of genuine customer experiences. You shouldn't buy fake reviews and misleading potential customers and undermining the integrity of the review system.
I strongly recommend that you remove the fake reviews. If you don’t take this issue seriously, we will report to google for a further...
Read moreA beautiful waterside cafe with a Turkish menu, there is plenty of parking next to the cafe and a lot of options to choose from once inside. The decor is colourful and inviting whilst sitting next to the open window to enjoy the breeze. The signs were a little confusing in terms of water service (help yourself vs employees only) however I understand COVID rules change all the time. I found the prices to be slightly expensive however I don't normally visit this area so I can only assume that the cost to operate a business here is rather pricey. Friendly waitresses, lovely environment and great food.
My only thought is that a serrated knife with the sourdough bread would be helpful and the team taking orders seem to be struggling to hear what the customers are saying.
Would happily...
